How wrong is this?

Ok last week I bought a sox hat for 20 dollars, but with all the secruity locks I could hardly try it on in the store so I bought it, but once I got home discovered that it was too small (after removing the tags. I know it was a bone head move). So the next day I bought the same hat, but bigger (which fits perfect) and transfered the sticker and tag onto the smaller hat and returned the one that didnt fit.

Ok, so now thats not too big a deal, but now im thinking on trying to do it just 1 more time with something a little more expensive. My Mark Buehrle jersey. I got it about 1 year ago, and even when I got it, it was a bit big, but it was manageble. Since then ive lost a considerable amount of weight (about 20 lbs) and its way too big now. Granit ive worn this jersey 1 time, for about 20 minutes (took it off cause it was a bit big and too hot at the time) but ofcourse the tags are off. They still sell this exact jersey at finishline and other sports appearal stores at my local mall so im considering buying another one and trying to transfere tags.

I feel bad about trying it, but at the same time the jersey is in perfect condition, worn hardly one and its not like im trying to rip them or anyone off, I just want a jersey that fits and that I can actually wear.

It's technically stealing, but it's done all the time and everyone has done it.

Just don't get caught and do it.

I just hope it doesnt show the size of the jersey on the reciept. If it does then ill have to return the original jersey and be stuck with the one thats too big.

If it's the same one, take the one you have in, say you got it as a gift, and took the tags off trying it on not even thinking. It's way too big and you want to exchange it for the same one only smaller. I can't imagine them giving you a hard time.

I tookeveryone through my journey of meeting and hooking up with my current girlfriend after many failed attempts with others. Those threads were one of a kind.

go for it... what's the worst that can happen... other than being prosecuted for fraud or something... No, you should be fine as long as you say you are returning a gift or something. As previously mentioned its been done by plenty of people before and it will be done by plenty after you... the key thing is, just don't get caught!

Definitely say it is a gift and remember these corporations could care less how badly they screw over the average person, so you shouldn't care if you screw them. They'll just put it back on the shelves and re-sell it to the next guy. Sure it sucks for him to pay full price for used goods, but c'est la vie.
