....when you have a conversation about a league switching its official ball

....when you know all the trainers and assitant coaches on your team.....special bonus if you know more than one team

....when you know the umpire/refs.officials by name and significant calls he's made throughout his career

....when you instantly loath a person because you found out he went to a certain school

....when a player changes his number you change that players number the same day on your video game

....when you can recognize and call out a players athletic gear

....when you know the win/loss record of Ben Wallace when his hair is in braids vs a Afro



I'm sure you OS Sports nuts can come up with better ones.

You tape games and ignore spoilers so you can watch them later without the drama being ruined.

...when you can tell someone what college almost any NBA player went too.

(and yes...this is true for one of my friends. We made a 30-player quiz, using 30 lesser-known players, or players that went to weird *** colleges...the kid went 29/30...missing only Carlos Arroyo who went too FIU.)

My mom thinks I'm crazy because someone can name a player in almost any sport and I can just name facts about him. :y4:

....when you judge people instantly because they're wearing apparel of a certain team

....when you automatically think of a college/university because you happened to see a red and silver shirt or hat

....when you KNOW you could stump the schwab

....when you refuse to buy a blue car that has orange(or whatever your rivals colors are) ANYWHERE on it

....when you always capitalize the color of your team(i.e. my always capitalizing Crimson)

....when you know the score of every single game your team has played since your birth

....when you also know not only if those games were on TV, but what specific channel

....when you get annoyed when people around you say incorrect things like, "Luke Ridnour went to Oregon State", uhh no he didn't and its incredibly annoying that you would say that as if it were true

....when you associate dates by who played that day(for example, I remember my g/f's birthday is November 13th because Alabama played and beat an undefeated Miss State on CBS that day back in '99)

....when you don't watch SportsCenter, you watch Baseball Tonight, College Gameday, College Gamenight, etc.

(I'm guilty of this one. The last game was the NYG vs. Eagles on MNF in 1970. Let's just say the league was portrayed very amateurishly. Oh and the comercials, YIKES!)
