    We are Marshall

    I just heard about it, the NFl network is about to send Portis down to the movie set, which should be cool.

    I was just curious what was the story, probably something amazing that happend in Marshall History?

    Is anyone excited abotu this movie besides Marshall fans, they are probably a little biased and are very stoked for this movie.

    EDIT:When a plane crash claims the lives of members of the Marshall University football team and some of its fans, the team's new coach (McConaughey) and his surviving players try to keep the football program alive.

    Is the plot outline, so did this really happen then?

      yes... their plane really did crash... and yes all of them died...

              don't remember... I just know all that were on the plane died... if the coach was on it then he died... but I'm not sure about that.

                  Gotcha.

                  Did you guys hear they are making "friday night lights" a TV series..not sure how well that ones going to play out, Or if they are using the guys from the movies.

                          I had not even heard of this happening, not sure about a movie being made out of it. Isn't there also another football movie coming out in the fall about that Eagles fan who made the team as a wide receiver?

                              Yeah it's got Marky Mark in it... a try out for everyone and he made the team as a special teamer I believe... looks pretty good IMO.
