If anyone here is dating someone who they dont think is hot or attractive then what are you together for? lol. Mutual agreement?

As long as everyone here gets their rocks off occasionally or otherwise, I'm proud of ya.

There are plenty of threads on OS I think are pointless. I simply don't post in them.

We are just different, I guess. I sometimes post in them and sometimes I lock them if they are really pointless. This one doesnt reach that level and people can continue to post pics of their girlfriends/fiances/wives/facebook friends/girl at school they stalk...as much as they want in this thread as long as it doesnt violate the TOS

How is that any different than any other thread, like the OS Twitter Contest, Fantasy leagues, or the like? I don't participate in the twitter contest thread, but you're not going to see me post how I don't get the point of it, or whatever.

Just like that thread, it's just guys having fun and having friendly competition.

And AA, DD, Dirtyjerz, and others have posted pictures of women that the majority of men would find attractive...so what's wrong with that?

When I see a thread on OS I don't 'get' or 'like', I *gasp* don't click on it.

I always love how people go out of their way to post in a thread that they don't get.

You are missing the point. The "point" of this thread was AA "calling people out" who say certain models/actresses/celebrities arent hot and asking them to post pictures of people who they date. This wasnt intended to be a comparison thread. I actually saw this thread yesterday, saw the first post, saw what resulted and realized it had nothing to do with the original intent of the thread. It was just an excuse for guys to show that they are dating a "hot girl" and I thought the same thing Graphik posted "Dont we all think that the people we are dating are hot?"

So I asked that question. I honestly dont understand why this is a thread and was hoping that someone would explain it. The response I get from you was " Dont post here if you dont get it." (actually the second time youve posted this) LOL. At least AA responded with his reasoning (even though I dont agree with it).

Like I said, this thread isnt going anywhere. Feel free to continue to post and if I have anymore questions I'll make sure to post it here.

Financial reasons I guess.......since I do know some people that are dating or married to people they aren't at all attracted to in anyway, but that person has a lot of money.

You will be amazed how many men and women do that and then be cheating on the person with other people left and right.

I also failed to see what was wrong with the picture. Can we not post pictures from ESPN on the website now? They have the "skin issue" pics...

I see more women doing that than men. I rarely see a good looking man with an ugly woman. I've seen plenty of great looking women with an unattractive man.

Pics from the Skin issue would not be allowed on OS. With that said, we are going to remove the warning for his gf's picture. I dont think that it violated the TOS.

I don't know, maybe because women aren't cars or pups? I do understand your comparison though. With anything though, if we get caught in a trap of putting things out there to sort of lift ourselves up, it can be dangerous. Especially if we are using another person to do so.

I see nothing wrong with people posting women, cars, TV, houses, pups, science award ribbons, halo costumes, etc. because they are proud of them.

I thought the picture was within TOS and AA was probably just proud of his girl and how great she looked, as subjective a topic as it may be.

So am I a Jersey Shore d-bag for posting pics of my wife? I mean, yah, I'm proud of my job well done, but it's also been a long running joke for years now with a lot of guys telling me to post more pics of her. Hell, NDAlum and I still have a planned wife-swap at some point... LOL.

Besides, a majority of guys in here know, or have talked to, my wife. She's even part of the PS3 Trophy contest.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being proud of what we have at home... especially when she's also cool, plays video games, and even plays along with our boy bull**** on here
