    Vacation

Well... tomorrow I'll be heading off to my vacation... I'll be going up to Connecticut for a week to spend time with my Uncle, seeing Saturday's Yankees game against the CWS where I'm sure to make up some chant about AJ, and then Sunday's Boston game against Oakland.

After that, I'm going for a couple of days to my girl's grandparents in Martha's Vineyard and from what it sounds like, they're ****ing loaded... I mean, they live on Martha's Vineyard! Then we're coming back to Connecticut for a day and flying back.

I'll be back on the 25th. I won't be able to try out for the NCAA league until that point, and my wrestling podcast is on indefinite hiatus... I plan on getting that back up and running before the end of the month.

I don't know how much I'll be able to check the forum, and even when I do check the forum, it might be down due to all you guys complaining about NCAA.

Just figured I'd post that so there's no calling of my phone by Tyler or any of that nonsense. I'll be back before you know it... (stop groaning about it!!!)

                Re: Vacation

OK, so we're here! Our plane sched was a bit screwed up, but we got here all the same. The first day we went to a pool after arriving.

2nd day was NYC... we saw everything we wanted to see, WTC site, Times Square, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (that was her idea), Rockefeller Center, and around town a bit (tried to find the theatre district but we were just exhausted).

3rd day, yesterday, was Yankees vs White Sox. Man, what a day. It was hot, and we were in the bleachers. Luckily there was some breeze. The bleachers, man, that was an experience. The Bleacher Creatures were less than kind (when I was coming back up with my gf they chanted "It's Raining Men" and squirted us with water guns, whatever the hell that means). It's really an experience everyone should do once. Only once. Hell, during the YMCA with the grounds crew, they all (and I mean all) pointed at some guy (she says it was a CWS fan) and yelled "Why are you gay?" to the song. Freaking hilarious. We were in RF near the boxseats.

Today we drove 3 hours to go to Concord and Boston. We saw some important American historical places in Concord, where the Americans first displayed forceful resistance against the Redcoats at Old North Bridge, and we also read about Paul Revere. Then we went to Fenway Park for the BoSawx/A's game. We got there in the bottom of the first, I think, and by the top of the 2nd, my cousin had enough of the heat. It was like 96 degrees, 90% humidity, in direct sunlight, in the bleachers at Fenway. I don't think I've ever sweated that much. We were in RF again. (BTW, the Fenway bleachers are one of the suckiest places to watch a game, very little excitement, at least for the fans)

Tomorrow is a relax day followed by the pool, and then on Tuesday, we go to Lake Compounce for some roller coastering and some water sliding. I'll keep ya posted.

When you go to Compounce, make sure to ride Boulder Dash multiple times, and at least once at night.

I had heard that they stopped doing that. Good to know that it lives on.

We rode the Boulder Dash once, in the back. It whipped us around crazily.

                        Anyway... another update!

Relax day was relaxing, pool was backed up so we went to the Stamford plaza mall thingy...

Lake Compounce was good. Rode Boulder Dash once, Zoomerang once, and the Wildcat once. We also rode the thing that's like the space g-force ride but tipped on its side and it made me nauseous. That's what I do for my GF.

Yesterday we went back into NYC to sightsee a little bit more. We went back to Times Square, got great seats for Rent and saw that. We ate lunch at the ESPNZone, and we hung around Times Square for a while. Then we came back and ate a big boat of Sushi.

Today's a pool day, and tomorrow is the beginning of our trip to Martha's Vineyard.

Yeah sure... Yankee's bleachers were a lot more fun. At one point, they did the DX crotch chop and "Suck it" chant to the box seats. It was ridiculous.
