Oooh my mom had a deviated septum and had to get it corrected. She couldn't really breath out of her nose it was that bad. She was laid up for a good week with those splints in her nose (nasty stuff). When she had them out she ended up getting a massive nose bleed a few days later and had to get her nose stuffed. Her nose had to be packed for a week, I think. Hopefully you don't have the same complications.

Well, I should explain that I had a Deviated Septum... basically... a damaged nose-passage...

Had the same thing about 13 years ago, but mine was due to a really bad broken nose. I stole 3B in a game and took the throw from the catcher off my nose. Blood everywhere, but I was safe.

Anyhow, I had 2 surgeries on it to fix the deviated septum and broken nose. The worst part was the packing IMO. Otherwise, I didn't think it was too bad. Hurt for 2 days or so, but nothing too bad. My pain tolerance is quite high though.

Yeah, the packing is annoying, but I'm not letting it get to me... My older bro had the same operation and he slept for 2 weeks, and was probably up for a grand total of an hour during that time. I have been up most of this time, just not letting it get the best of me. I don't think I could stand sleeping for the whole time.

Hell that is all that matter, being safe that is! Way to go Joeboo. LOL That is truly taking one for the team!
