I'm considering a field change while I'm still young and real estate is probably the only thing that's really perked my interest since I was a younger kid. I'd like to get an idea of how others got into the business and some typical, day-to-day happenings - and any other general info that would be of use.

Currently I'm doing real estate apprasial. Very easy job IMO, lot of driving sometimes but its all good. I got into the field with attending a one month or so class every Saturday/Sunday for that month (8 hour class). Hard but it was worth it and I wanted to get it over with ASAP. The state exam was 105 questions, it wasn't too hard but you'll still need to study so you understand a good majority of it.
I am working on my broker license currently so in the future I can buy houses, redo them, appraise them and than sell them myself without paying the big in between costs.
Good luck if you decide to pursue real estate as there is plenty of money to be made in it. -

I got my license but never really practiced. Just got it when I was 19 when I had time to kill before I started a summer counselor job.Comment
