Re: How old is everyone on OS?

Great! So far I'm 50% of the 50+ demographic that responded. Man where does the time go!

While we are on the age subject, has anyone else started to lose interest in recent vidoegames, other than sports titles? In spite of getting an xbox 360 and an HDTV recently, none of the titles seam to hold my interest for very long. For example, Oblivion, GRAW, COD, PFR3, ect. in spite of being really good games, sit on my shelf. I don't know, it just seams like the same old same old.

I do play and enjoy all the sports titles which I seem to gravitate to most of the time these days.Comment

Re: How old is everyone on OS?

Must be true, pennsy. I've always enjoyed playing games. When we were young, our "military shooters" were stategy/tactical board games from Avalon Hill like Tactics II, Panzer Leader, Gettysburg and chess. The sports games were pen and paper based, Paydirt (pro football) and it's college equivilant.Originally posted by pennsyI'm the other 50% of the 50+ gamers that have responded so far and the weird thing is I live in the same state as you.

We are living in a great age for gamers, but sometimes I feel like we have lost something in the conversion to digital.Comment

Yes I remember those games. And Stratego and stratomatic baseball. We even "invented" a baseball game using dice. Football was the vibrating field and hockey was the one that you manually moved and turned your men.Originally posted by EdRaynesMust be true, pennsy. I've always enjoyed playing games.
