I started on espnvideogames.com first looking for other people who could talk about the game and how come it wasn't as good as I remembered it. I looked for sliders and other things that would make my gaming interesting. After a while, the site got extremely immature for my taste so I listened to a regular poster from that site. I kept hearing about OS and I couldn't find out what the heck it was. I finally found the name of the site and checked it out a little.
It looked like a little site where not too many people heard about it. It was a sports site so I was kind of happy. I didn't sign up for it right away. I just kept hearing about the different conversations they were having about baseball, basketball, and football. They were constantly comparing EA games to VC games. I liked that so I signed up and the rest was history. It was the general "underground" buzz that was on 2ksports' site that initially swayed me to this site. That was also the beginning of my harder gaming.
What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?
My sister got into an accident in my car. I got a lump sum of money quickly so I decided to pay off my school bills, buy a couple of games, and finally donate to OS. There were times before that I wanted to but the money would get tied up quicker than I could toss it. So I decided to toss some when I had a solid amount to give.
