    OS Chatroom

    Saw there was a thread made all the way back in March about bringing the chatroom "back". It think chatting is alot more interesting than posting.

    I usually see one person in the chatroom, and today I actually went in. When I signed into the chatroom the person that was in it left as soon as he saw me! Do people hang out there or something? Its like I caught him doing something lol.

    Maybe we could have topic specific chats like once a week? Maybe an NCAA FB preview chat or MLB Playoff chat, etc. would be pretty cool.

    And there are always 100+ people are active on the site. Even if just 5% of people were on the chatrooms that could be like 5-15 people depending how many people were online. The chatroom is also really user friendly, just sign in and it takes 2 seconds to get in.

      I would like to chat about football games and stuff, but it seems more people just like to make threads about games instead. It's a pretty nice chatroom, it's a shame we don't use it more.

          Personally I have an easier time following along the forums than a chatroom. With the forums, it's easier to get caught up on any conversation at your own pace. Also, when we've had chats about the draft and other topics, they're filled with worthless "Cardinals pick so and so" comments when everybody in the chat is watching the same damn thing. I think it's easier to tune these things out in the forums and participate in actual discussion. People participate in chats like they're having an AIM conversation with one person, showing no regard for the signal to noise ratio.

                          The chatroom is pretty fun with some people in it. Come on guys stop post whoring and get in chat

                          Ive seen 4 people on the chatroom today on 4 seperate occassions. I haven't seen that in a looooong time.

                          EDIT: Holy cow! 7 people on chat right now lol.

                              I used to love going in the chatroom but everybody was just wanting to talk to Datcrunk1 or whatever his name was whenever I went in there. Maybe I'll try and get back into it. I think all the guys who are regulars in the wrestling forum would enjoy chatting about Raw or ECW while they are on TV.

                                  The chat gets used a lot for big events, i.e. the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft, but other than that, we really had to work to get people in there.

                                  There was a weekly chat a while back (around February, I think) that NCoffey headed up, but that has since petered out.
