You should try flex fit hats if you haven't, I'm not a fan of adjustable but I love flex fits, they come in either S/M, M/L, or L/XL, they fit pretty comfortably from my experiences with them.

That said I don't mind fitted hats either though.

I got the same problem. I wish the authentic MLB hats were flex fit.

Snapbacks look like they're coming back in style big time, but I'm not a fan. I stick with flexfit.

I can wear an adjustable hat, but i mostly wear hats backwards. Adjustable hats look ridiculous worn backwards.

What sucks is that the New Era hats are all polyester so the hot water trick pretty much ruins all of them. I just buy low crown fitted to get that tighter fitted look.

What are Snapbacks? I've tried some Flexfits but it seems the M/L are a bit too small and the L/XL are a bit too big. It's frustrating.

Snapbacks on the ones with plastic snaps in the back so you can adjust it.

I can't seem to find hats I like, unless they are that MLB kind of a box/square shaped on top. Doh!

What are the FlexFit - the one size fits all hat?

Duh! Man, not sure why I couldn't remember that. I have a couple of those and they fit me well, so I'd welcome more.

Flexfit are like the one-fit hats, but apparently come in different sizes; S/M, M/L, L/XL.

Anyone have tips on how to straighten a brim back to flat? I have a hat and it's brim is bent all weird. I want to start from scratch.

I got a thin towel, placed it on the brim of the hat and then used the steam from the iron and ironed the brim. Worked pretty good.

I tried that with a new Baylor hat I got on Saturday, I thought it was working, but not so much, as the crown is pretty high still. I wonder what I did wrong? What are the papertowels for, so it doesn't shrink?

Is the hat wool or polyester? I'm not too sure but I don't think it works as well with polyester. Otherwise I find that it works better if you're actually wearing the wet hat as it usually forms to your head that way. I don't want you to ruin your hat so only do that if you're really comfortable with that idea.

Wool. I did it the other day and it seems just a tad better, but I was expecting it to work a lot better than it did. Maybe the water wasn't hot enough or I didn't wear it long enough?
