First party at our place this semester is tonight, so if I make any completely unintelligible posts after about 10 PM tonight, that is the reason

        Welcome to college life, Longhorn

The worst drunk experience I witness was some small town dumb ***, who ended up dropping out after his freshman year, was drinking with us, got wasted, took a giant dump all over one of the communal stalls, passed out on said stall, but only after puking all over himself...pants down with the junk hanging below his fat gut. Hopefully you'll be spared such wonderful sights!

As to what's on my mind, in the spirit of the above college memory, I remember being a bit tipsy, following a frat boy buddy of mine to 'American Beauty' with my roomate and some dorm mates, chucking Red Hots at him and his date (thank the deity she had a sense of humor), and in my crowning achievement, launched a Dot across the entire theater, down 15 rows or so, and pegged the "Queer Eye" make-up wannabe square in the head (who I sparred with after a Chem test later in the semester)...creating a very humorous scene.

        Good times!

Also, wildfires suck, especially when you have an asthmatic almost three year old who can't sleep through the night due to constant coughing fits because of the smoke in the air (in Boise we are enjoying orange California sunsets and rises...problem is we don't have any smog).

Everybody had that small town kid in their dorm, on their hall or something. They show up at college with the sole intention of getting drunk and hooking up. Unfortunately for them, they are never a prize catch in the ladies eyes. They always end up following somebody(anybody) else to the party, almost always uninvited.

Ours wasn't that bad of a guy, pretty nice actually, but he was a terrible drunk and he was drunk the majority of the time. His crowning moment came when he figured out the dorm computer desk chairs were water-resistent enough to take into the shower so he could down a tallboy while sitting in his chair in thie shower.

What's funny is that the small town drunks roomate was his buddy from the same small Colorado town, and he was one of those oddball sorts who drinks by himself, daily, and NEVER showered. I mean on our floor, you had classes as early as seven in the morning, and our floor had commotion until at least one or two, nightly. The guy was never seen entering or leaving the shower. Very strange.

The two of them mostly watched illegal porn copied from FTP sites in the dorm room of the other dorm stereotype, the super secret computer kids. Nothing wrong with watching porn, but with three or four other guys? Sober!?

Our guy had a couple of good friends who lived in the same dorm, they roomed together, he got left out. Those two were normal guys, as far as I know they went on to finish up school, I saw them for a few more years at least.

I am totally with you on the multiple guys watching porn together, that is something I never understood.

And we had our non-shower kid too, the odd part about him was that he bragged about how little he showered, he took pride in it.

We also had the floor pot dealer, the girl who made her way into most of the bedrooms on the floor at some point during the year, the good ol' boy country kid who was way too nice, the computer kid, the hippie and the punk rocker. Oh, and the nerdy RA to directly conflict with the cool RA on the other side of the floor. Good times....

I think every floor is like that, mine was for sure. Rarely could you go to sleep before 2 am or so. We had our share of dirty kids too.

I'm deciding how to go about quitting my job. They won't cut back my hours for school even though I've told them I need to do that several times in writing and tonight I was there until 11 doing deliveries. I've pretty much had enough at this point, so I'm debating whether I'll even show up tomorrow.

Just don't go for three days(I'm not sure if you work at a place where it's an automatic quit if you don't go for three days) and then pick up your last check.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

No class tomorrow for me. If I wasn't so tired, I'd be doing the college thing and drinking right now. Oh well. That's what tomorrow night's band party is for

                        Oh man.....

I feel like i've just been through a 10 round fight.

So I took my hot shower in the afternoon and felt a little better. I called Rogers Cable for my credit because the On Demand services have been down for a month or so. I asked when they expect to have it back up and they said "pretty soon". Knowing big corporate speak that probably means another month. DAMN YOU TED ROGERS I'M MISSING THE BEST MONTH IN 24/7'S SHORT HISTORY!!!!

I drank a couple Tylenol Cold capsules in the evening and had Corn Beef for dinner. I was looking forward to the game but the body wasn't willing. I kept "soft" blacking out (don't worry it's my way of saying falling asleep when I don't want to) during the first half. What made things worse was that I was alternately burning up or cold. I finally said "screw it" and rolled over on the floor and slept. I just woke up 15 minutes ago.

Since I couldn't watch the game properly i'll make my one and only concrete observation here. I hope to God that Pink's song at the beginning is not the NBC football theme because that is NOT football music. That music is sedative when you compare it to Hank Williams Jr's "are you ready for some football".

Why does almost every post of yours in here brag about going drinking?

I wonder why my school is so stupid.

Before I can get a parking permit (which get sold this coming monday), I have to clear any detention hours I have, and I have one hour, but it's from sophomore year (2 years ago) when I was late to a class. So now I have to go back in about an hour or so to serve an hour detention.

Better to do it now than waiting until graduation time, they will hold your diploma if you have ANYTHING on your record.
