That statement is just plain wrong...almost as bad as saying cheap vodka, or cheap whiskey is the way to go. No way in hell!
The way I see it, if I don't spend at least $6.50 on a six pack of bottles I'm drinking piss (with the exception being Budweiser Select, which is my cheap, domestic party beer for excessive consumption). Otherwise, for lazy drinking, it's Fat Tire, Nevada Pale Ale, Samuel Adams, etc.
A fine bottle of wine though trumps beer in every way. A nice Riesling paired with a light pasta sauteed in olive oil is as close to heaven as one can get!I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

I'm almost hesitant to do this but I think i'm going to watch some of the CNN Pipeline feed of the events as they unfolded that day.
I also can't believe it's been 5 years. Sadly it seems the media, some people, and the politicians have forgotten that day as it ALMOST feels like pre-9/11 times. - Well, I've slept for 4 hours in the past 43 hours, so I'm just about ready to collapse, but I can't sleep until after my last class ends at 2.
- I just got back from taking my friend to the hospital for the third time in three weeks. She really is a good friend and I have no problem taking her to the hospital when she needs to go, but it really does blow when you have to go to a hospital at 3AM after getting an hour of sleep.
- Seen as how I have class in 3 hours and it's pointless to go to sleep, I'm just gonna take in CNN's coverage this morning.
- My stomach is bothering me for the first time in a few weeks. I may have to get it checked out if it keeps bothering me cause it was like this for a month up until a few weeks ago.Last edited by bjf1377; 09-11-2006, 07:29 AM.Comment

Cant belive its been 5 years either. I watched some of the cbs special last night and didn't want to finish it. Started feeling all those feelings coming back...sadness, frustration, and just genuine anger. Watching the CNN pipeline coverage of 9/11 as it happened and wow...CNN was far more newsy and less alarmist back then. Then again, we didn't have the spectre of terrorism looming over us 24/7.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
