I had a Spanish teacher my senior year that was more "attractive" than hot, if that makes any sense. I really shoulda asked for some tutoring in that class, haha

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread

Just found out one of my best friends cheated on her boyfriend (now her ex), who I actually hate, for a total of 4 months during the end of their relationship.

What's even more pathetic is he has no clue. She gave him other reasons for the breakup and blamed it on him.

I'm thrilled they broke up because he was a douchebag but right now, it doesn't matter. I almost feel bad for him.

I'm tempted to stop talking to her for good, because that's ****ing trash in my eyes. There is nothing worse than a cheater. I don't want her as my friend, no matter how good she's been to me over the years.

      Ugh.

In the 35+ hours until Michigan-Notre Dame, I doubt I will get much sleep.

I haven't been this worried about any kind of game since mid-2005.

Only two more classes until the weekend.

I'm not going to make it through sociology.

My last class is at 12. Then I'm free for the weekend. Plus I love American Govt so it's not really a punishment. But I do have to work from 3-10 tonight, and then open from 8-3 Sat morning. Now that does suck!!!

I have 1130-1220, and then 1-215 and then I'm done.

That sociology class is seriously looking horrible right about now.

Two For The Money isn't as bad as I heard it was, unless something really dumb happens.

Goodnesssss... getting drunk, and only getting 2 1/2 hours of sleep was a bad idea. Just finished a paper that's due in a few hours, now I get to go take a math quiz.

LOL! Good luck with that one. I got eight hrs of sleep and woke up hung over. I kinda wish I'd slammed some last night so at least it would be a viable punishment.

Well I could be really happy in two hours time or I could be disappointed. As i've been bitching about on here Rogers Digital has been going through technical problems hence no updates for WWE 24/7 since mid-August. I just checked the TV a few minutes ago and it looked the same "sigh" but I clicked "new this week" just for craps and giggles and they have one of the NWA shows listed. Nothing else has changed so I'm ASSUMING things will get fully updated by 2 EST. If not i'll just sigh and curse Rogers for building my hopes up.

Well I watched the Anne Frank movie last night. Hm, let's see how can I say this in a nice way because it's based on actual events but well, this flicks portrays Anne as a strange duck. She's wanting to be a "real" woman, has these mood swings, has a bad temperment at times, and she's basically very "girly".

I kinda wish I didn't see the movie as I had an impression of her as a strong willed young girl who didn't give up hope in the face of impending doom. I've read a play based on her diaries and I saw an earlier film treatment from the 1950s that used that portrayal. On the positive side the gal that plays Anne was quite good. She had a very cute look that showed an innocence that just made the last part of the movie unbearable to watch.

Ben Kingsley does a bang up job as Anne's father Otto. It's a very understated yet powerful portrayal of a man who loves his family and clearly understands his daughter better then everyone else. It was kind of heartwarming watching Kingsley interact with the actress who played Anne.

One last thing before I give a "yay or nay" on the flick. I love how the director took news reel and archival footage and blended it into the film by having the screen going B/W and showing that old footage and inserting original footage in them. It was quite powerful and very well done.

Overall, I give the film a slight nod only because of the acting of the two main stars.

Done with classes for the week, but I got a 6 page paper due later today that I still have over half to do.

After that its time to party and then football game tomorrow.
