I hate being sick. I went to bed around 10:45pm and I was wide awake at 5:45am. My wife forgot to grab Nyquil, so I am sure today will suck as much as the last 2. To make matters worse, I need to take one of our ferrets to the vet on Friday, hopefully he doesn't have adrenal disease, but the facts tend to point towards that. Which is even more sad because he has been the epitomy of a healthy animal, he's only had to go to the Vet's once for a non-routine checkup, and that was because one of his siblings bit is ear and caused it come become infected.

Our football game yesterday was brutal, we lost 13-12 and again our younger QB can't throw much. But I played well on the whole, with lots of punt return and kick returns along with two catches. I made some nice blocks, no mistakes made by me so I was happy, confidence for University is back up. The one thing about yesterdays game was that it was played on that grassy turf, needless to say my whole body has burns all over it now.

I just finished watching my newly bought Marvin Gaye: Live in Belgium 1981 DVD. Man, that guy sure could sing. It's sad that he lived one of those lives that were destined to be cut short.

Yea, Sports does seem like a movie-head. Although most of the movies he watches, I would'nt mind watching. All my dvds are still at my baby's moms house. I need good luck getting those back.

Graphik....I mean if their female friend intervenes in your attempts, or your male friend intervenes in your attempts.

My friends and I have come up with the term "Wiener Intervener" as an alternative to cockblock, and we shortened it to WI and the codename became "Wisconsin" because WI is the abbreviation for Wisconsin.

In that case, I would defitnitely say a guy. Female friends are usually over-protective and dont want to let their girl hooking up with a guy she may not personally like. Ethier that or she's a *****. With a guy, some of them think "every man for themselves" when it comes females and will do or say anything to get the upper hand.

Back in the day, my crew had a guy who was just notorious for cockblocking. We'd introduce him to a chick that we're currently hollering at and he'd be on some slick s***, get her digits behind our back and dog us till he got her. He did it to me 3 times....in 1 summer. He did the same to my guy and eventually knocked the poor chick up. He'd even go as far as to attempt to get with our ex-gfs. Not just any ex, an ex we were with for 3 plus years. They'd come right back and tell us. After that we disowned him.

It does'nt stop there, he commited the ultimate act of cockblocking some years later. After not seeing this dude for a few years, I dont hold grudges so I get back with him one night. That same night, me, him and 2 other guys were slated to meet with this bust-down. Stretchy or hoe for those not aware of the term. We get there and we leave him alone with the chick while we run to the 'store' to buy some herbal medication. By the time we return, he cuffed the chick and he dipped off in the room to hit by himself. Straight BS.

To make a long story short, he eventually moved this chick into his pops crib, wifed her damn near and my other guy was staying with him also and he did'nt let him hit once and even though they often flirted behind his back. Dr. Dre said it best, you cant turn a hoe into a housewife. After that episode, I stopped talking to him again. Fast foward 5 years later, I just got up with him about a few weeks ago when he stopped by my crib. And you know what happened, we went out to a club with one of my ex-gfs and he was tryna hit her. Some things never change.

Here's how to deal with the over-protective friends:

The way around this is to win over the friends of your target before you start working on the target. This takes discipline and recognizing patterns before you introduce yourself to the group. This is solid game. You open up with the girl and her other friends, use a false time constraint, and you focus on coming in under the radar (Tao of Steve rule #1: be desireless), and demonstrate higher value to your target's friends (even if there is dude(s) around, Tao of Steve rule #2: be excellent). Ignore your target (don't fall for her attention gathering techniques), while winning over her friends, and once you know she is single (by talking to the dudes and girls there and saying "how do you all know each other?"), and have won over her friends (usually 6-10 mins), you then say "Hey, I've been ignoring Target X, mind if I spend some time with her?" The friend(s) should say, "umm..yeah..whatever" or "I guess so?". If you've won over the friend, then you should be granted access to the target.

Then you go from there with the target. This is probably the most effective way of isolating a girl you are interested in from her friends' who have joined her in the venue.

Oh yeah, and make sure you don't spend too much time with the target's friends, you'll totally alienate the target, and the friend(s) will think you are chasing after them.

You guys should like this...

I had the ultimate cockblocker working against me last night. One of my own pledges in my frat. I turn around and realize hes trying to mack on my date. I was like OK whatever and I went and made out with his date, just because I could. Then I make my way back to my date, join in on the conversation, then casually mention how the cockblocker is in the marching band...

Needless to say, he didn't recover from that line all night.
