Don't ask me, this is what they tell me. I guess the exams count for more on your final grade. That's all I can come up with, other then they are spelled differently.

Generally an exam counts for a much higher percentage of your grade.

Procrastination is like masturbation: amusing at first, but in the end, you're just ****ing yourself.

With that said, I hate myself for procrastinating. I have to finish a seven page English paper and a four page Psychology paper, neither of which should take TOO long. However, I have 15 one-page journal entries to do, which will take significantly longer than both of the other two assignments combined. Argh.

Never knew if there was ever a difference.

Some of my teachers have quizzes and tests, others have quizzes and exams.

I think it's kind of sad when you're one of 5 juniors to not get a varsity jersey. Not like I was expecting one, but it's still rough. Constantly getting cut down by the coach isn't great either. Tonight it was "you're not good enough of a ball handler to play point". It's gonna be even worse that I'm gonna be a junior on JV getting garbage minutes. As you can tell, I'm pretty damn bummed right now. I thought I was starting to play better too...

Probably because I am, especially with basketball.

This time last week, I was at the game hoping for a comeback. That was such a great experience. What a freaking game that was.

I played JV as a junior. It wasnt too bad. A little embarrassing at first, but I got over it. The coach got on me pretty hard all through the summer and during practices.

We werent supposed to be that good, but as the older guy, I just took it on myself to keep people focused and make sure we stayed together as a team. We ended up winning league too.

It doesnt matter if you get garbage minutes man, you just got to put it all on the line every time you get out there. A friend of mine (also a junior on JV) couldnt dribble and couldnt shoot. But he played his *** off. Played excellent defense, fought for rebounds, dove for loose balls, etc. No type of offensive ability, but because he did those things so well, he ended up starting and provided us with a spark whenever he was in.

Just keeping working at it and you'll get better. And remember, its not just about you. Its about those other 11 guys on the bench and trying to win some games.
