I hate Mobile. I make it a point to bypass that place when I go to the beach.

I think it's kind of sad when you're one of 5 juniors to not get a varsity jersey. Not like I was expecting one, but it's still rough. Constantly getting cut down by the coach isn't great either. Tonight it was "you're not good enough of a ball handler to play point". It's gonna be even worse that I'm gonna be a junior on JV getting garbage minutes. As you can tell, I'm pretty damn bummed right now. I thought I was starting to play better too...

Man its just basketball. Its no big deal. Trust me. I didn't make my high school team so I quit and focused my attention on baseball. Worked out in the end as I'm a pretty good baseball player. The things that should be on your mind are as follows: girls, getting laid, getting into college, enjoying high school because college is harder, and ITS FREAKING IRON BOWL WEEK!!!

Im a junior on JV bball right now and its really not that big of a deal. I didn't play much freshman year and ended up on frosh/soph as a soph. I stepped up and became a leader and played pretty much the whole game every game. This year I'll be our number one guy on JV and am better than a couple of the varsity guys but didn't really have a chance to be up there since nobody ever really jumps from f/s straight to varsity. It worked out good for me though and I've got a decent shot at starting on Varsity next year. I worked really hard at practice and running and its payed off a lot. I can now run a 5:00 mile from 7:00 and improved my vertical to the point where i can dunk and am 6'. No matter what situation ur in u just gotta suck it up and play hard every minute of anything u do.

If you really want some playing time just learn to rebound and play D. Get in the weightroom and work on plyos and stuff and concentrate on boxing ur guy out every single play. If you try hard enough and make an effort to get every board u can get 10-15 a game with some athletic ability. Every team needs a guy who can box out, board, and play d and neither of those too much talent and mostly effort. You can always find a way to help the team.

I'm going to bed right now so I won't be able to reply but you could play up the "manifest destiny as the cause for American foreign policy woes in the 20th century". Just look at American backed coups that installed brutal dictatorships and how Manifest Destiny has created the America as world's bully syndrome that we've been seeing in particular over the last decade or so.

Even if you don't decide to do that it's still an interesting aspect of it.

I was actually just thinking about how stupid it is to wait outside a store for 2 nights in the cold for a video game system. Talk about addicted.

Why can't they just wait until there's a normal amount of them out, and just go to the store and get them when they're in (like I did with the 360).

I'm wasted right now... and got 3 girls' numbers... I'm going out 2morrow night... and each one of them is getting a call seeing as they all want to get with me... this should be fun and interesting. Or maybe i should just call my favorite girl... what do you guys think?
