Oh well, more power to him.

Me and him joined a rec church team, and tonight was the first game. Unfortunately, they had already practiced for a few weeks, and gotten to know each other. I felt so out of place.

I wasn't even sure if I'd get any playing time.

This league plays two 16 minute halves. I got in about 3-4 minutes in the first half, had a turnover and a rebound. I was so sloppy and nervous, I played like ****.

I also got in the 2nd half, for about 4 minutes and made the most of it. I hit three straight threes, and scored 11 points within a 2 1/2 minute span. I was loving it.

At half, we were down 39-38 and we ended up winning 81-58.

We've got a practice next Monday, so hopefully I'll get to meet all the guys then.
Nice , I've had that situation a few times and its always like WTF am I doing, But you just forget about it . I try not to put my friends in that Situation tho.

Eli, This is a question for you about my Florida Gators basketball...If Corey Brewer has Mono...Why the hell was he on the bench yesterday? Im pretty sure Mono is not that hard to pass on or Is it not? Jw

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread

Things are suddenly looking up again for the first time in a long time.

        - My best friend apologized for taking all of her anger out on me two nights ago (and a week & a half ago) and she said she cried because she thought she had ruined our friendship (not glad she cried, but glad she still thinks its a valuable friendship).

        - I started dieting. I must say I'm not a fan of eating healthy, but this will really help me out and I'll feel better in a few months.

        - Classes are almost over.

        - I'm gonna take a "little" roadtrip to Colorado next month to visit some people.

        - Christmas is coming, so I get to get my family some nice gifts.

All in all I'm much happier than I was a week ago

          Glad to hear that, man.

Two more classes today... both of which will be boring as ****.

We have begun to plan our trip to Jamaica. Last time we went to Sandals, but this Couples Resort sounds better and is considerably cheaper!

Well, I'm going to have to borrow the money from my folks, and pay them back. Not what I wanted to do, but I got to do it.

It just sucks that it comes around Christmas time because I'd like to get a few of my friends gifts, and I can't.

I'll probably go out looking tomorrow for another job.

Wondering how many classes i should take for University in January.

Doing a double major in Econ and Poli Sci and i'll be working about 16 hours a week. I think 5 classes is decent.

That sounds doable to me. What are you planning on doing after University? Most PS majors I know tend to matriculate to law school, although IIRC Canadian law schools are much harder to get into than most US schools.

We booked our trip to Jamaica today, we will being to Couples Swept Away in Negril. The deal is much better than Sandals can offer and the little things Sandals charged for Couples does not. I am going to try and have our wedding vows renewed on my wife's birthday, that should score me some major points.

                        Hopefully McGill Law School

I know one thing. I'm already regretting taking that Econ major. I really don't have passion for it. Should've taken a Philosophy Major to support the Poli Sci one.

But yeah, 2 majors with work does seem fine. Concordia U is in downtown Montreal, my workplace is about 10 minutes by walking and I'll be moving in a downtown appartment soon.

Good luck with McGill Law, the LSAT score for that school is ridiculously high, it is on par with Georgetown and Duke IIRC.

Yup, I'll need it. I'm informing myself about the other Canadian Law Schools as well.

A JD from an American law school allows you to sit for Canada's bar exam and vice versa just so you know. We have some Canadians at WNEC.

You're going to LOVE it! My wife and I went to Couples - Negril for our Honeymoon back in June. Not Swept Away, but the one right down the road. We didn't go to your resort, although we saw it on the bus trip back from Margaritaville. It looks pretty nice from the outside. If it's anything like the one we stayed at, you're not going to want to leave.
