I got a buzz a few months ago, and today I was ready to go in and get it all trimmed up. My regular barber wasn't there, but I figured "how can anyone **** up a buzz?"

Well apparently it's possible. The ditz who cut my hair basically shaved the sides like a buzz, but left the top long...WTF?

I look ridiculous. At this point I've decided to go with the feau-hawk(fake mohawk)

So my question is, what do I do to fix my hair? and how do you deal with this situation, when youre in the barber shop, your hair looks dumb, but you dont want to embarass the person who cut it?
i cant wait to see this at school. should give me a good laugh

Take pictures and post them so we can laugh as well.

Barbers, on the other hand, usually went to barber college about 20 years ago(if not learned in their own basement), and learned about 3 haircuts which they can only do slight variations of. I think its a joke.

You take your hair with you everywhere, at all times. I can't afford for some clown to f it up because they don't know what they're doing.

I wouldn't trust a barber with anything except extremely close-cropped haircuts and/or highly specific hair types. They just don't have the skillset. It's like they live in a time bubble, as if hairstyles stopped in the late 50's.

Oh, and any of you who might think that going to a stylist is something a girl does, or a waste of money, a Men's Health Survey conducted in 2005 said "42% of women say the 1st thing they notice about a man is his hair".

That's the audience I'm trying to impress, so I find it worth it.
Agreed... I always go to Salons with professional hair-stylists... and nothing better than the Women that work there either!
