    diet pills

I know I know, everyones going to say get off my butt and work out and eat right, but im looking for some types and hints on if I should or how I should approach taking any type of diet pills. I have a hard time finding time to work out since I work 9-5 mon-fri, have school 6-10 on tues, wed, thurs, and then im with my girlfriend monday, fri and saturday nights. Anyway, im about 160 right now (im 5'8) and I want to get back down to 147ish.

In high school I was all the way up to 175, but lost 35 pounds and got to 145 in about 8 months (by using a tredmill and eating healthy) but that was 2 years ago. I dont have the tredmill anymore and since ive been with my girlfriend (year and a half) its been constant eating out and have gone back to a lot of lazyness. Now in that year and a half ive went from 147 back to right now which is my highest since high school between 160-163 depending on when i weight myself.

When I hit the scale last night and saw 163 it hit that motivation nurve. The one that says, oh crap, and that im going to diet starting today until I get back comfortbale with my weight. I am curious though if its alright to take some sort of fat burner along with a healthy diet, but minimal exersize for now. Im planning on running about 1-2 miles 3 nights a week, and even that isnt much, and still not guarenteed.

If you run as much as you say you will, you won't need pills. I wouldn't take them in any case though. I'm not going to lecture you, but there's no "trick" to staying healthy. Taking diet pills with minimal exercise and bad eating habits will only worsen your situation because you'll think you're getting better when you're only getting worse. I've got a bunch of night classes this term as well when I'm used to working out at night, but it's really important to me to keep my routine, so I'm going to have to adjust. It's going to be a pain in the ***, but if it matters to you like it does to me, you'll find a way to work it out. If you don't have classes until night time, get yourself to the gym during the day. I'm not really the person to ask about weight loss, because when I stop going to the gym, I lose weight as I'm trying to get bigger with weights as opposed to smaller through cardio, etc. At any rate, one thing I DO know, is if you wanna lose a lot of weight in a short period of time, sleep 3 hours a night and eat one meal a day. Use the majority of the rest of that time to slave over your assignments, stress out regularly, and you'll have dropped 20 lbs before you know it lol.

well id definatly eat healthy and stick to a diet if I started taking any diet pills. Im just mostly wondering if its alright to do that, considering the fact I might not exersize as much as I probably want too.

I have classes at night and work in the days, my only free days are friday night, saturday and sunday and most of that time is spent with the girlfriend and sundays are now strictly all football. I dunno, im going to seriously try to run after I get home from school even though im dead tired from working 9-5 then school 6-10. It will get harder soon though with the weather getting cold out. I wish I still had a tredmill.

Diet pills are a terrible idea. You can still eat out while ordering healthier food.

Why don't you workout before you go to work in the morning? I have heard that you get a ton of energy after the workout and if you eat a light, healthy breakfast there won't be much in your stomach so you won't have to get worried about feeling sick. I would stay away from the pills though, there have been too many bad stories about them. Also, while eating having a meal in a restaurant ask for a "to go" box for half of the portion they give you, which in turn allows you to have lunch or dinner the next day. You will eat a healthier sized portion and save some money.

Or why don't you get your gf involved and let her work out with you. If she loves you, and supports you....then wouldn't she want to help you with your weight loss?

she supports me working out, but shes quite a lazy bum when it comes to her working out.

Sadly despite her not working out and us eating out a lot, she still stays around 110 and super thin.

I would still stay away from diet pills though man. It's not healthy for you, and this is coming from a nursing student. I would make time to work out. Even if that meant not spending all day with your gf on the days you can see each other. Again if she loves you, and sees how much this means to you it won't be a problem. Especially since for a good workout it takes 30-45 mins tops. If she can't wait that long then something is wrong. I can only see my fiance 3 days a week, but that doesn't mean I drop everything to be with her the entire day. If I want to work out, or if I have something else to do....she can wait for a lil bit. If it means that much to you man I'd work out, and not take the pills.
