Honestly, if I were paying Saturday night, instead of having my every need catered to, I would have preferred we went somewhere other than a strip club. But, since I arrived at the party with an empty wallet, and left the following morning with the same, I'm not going to knock my friends' decision to take me to see some nudity.
I wouldn't have had to paid, but I wouldn't want my friend to waste the money. I had two parties, with two different groups of friends - one tried to force me into a stripclub and I flat out refused.

see - not all bachelor parties are the same. not all of them entail naked women flaunting themselves. I wanted no part of that - instead, I went to a casino for the night.

Why spend money to watch a naked woman dance around? I see no entertainment in it at all - especially when I have a woman at home who will do the same for free, and actually go further. Strippers, to me, are completely pointless and obsolete.

For me, I see no point in watching soft porn on tv or fully naked women in mags while most guys get off on it. At least at the nudie bar you got all that in the flesh plus you can get a lil extra like a lap dance. If my women had skills like some of the ladies do who strip, then I'd see your point. Unfortunately, I dont have one on my team. I did have this one chick who would come over to my place and put on a show for my guys for some loot. Those girls have talent and I nobody can tell me otherwise.

Same reason I put in my first post - I don't see the point in making someone waste their money on it, especially when I wasn't going to enjoy it. I also just find it trashy and sleezey. I personally don't care if my friends like it - doesn't bother me one bit - but I personally hate it.

It really pulls no enjoyment out of me. Wow, I can sit there and watch some girl (who's background story likey involves being sexually assaulted by a parent or close friend) shake her *** in front of me for insanely gross amounts of money... then watch her walk over to some other guy and have some other girl walk over to me and shake her *** in front of me for more money... continue, continue. I see no fun in that at all.

I'd much rather do something more involved, and sometimes that makes me think a little more. I basically played poker and blackjack all night at a casino with a bunch of friends, and had a hell of a time. They're all crazy, and had the pit-boss even standing by the table cheering with them. They'd be screaming random crap out, and people would look and come over, etc, etc. It was a lot more fun that some girl basically teasing me for a couple hours.

I'm an extremely open person, and I'll try just about anything that's not insane at least once. I've been to two stipclubs (really fancy nice ones in Toronto) and enjoyed neither of them. I felt dirty and trashy leaving, and have no drive to ever go back to one.

10 years ago, I would have said you're nuts. Now, I totally agree with you. I'm married with one kid and one on the way. I love hot chicks and gawk at them all the time, but to pay a ton of money just to have some girl tease you is just stupid IMO.

What's weird is that most married men really look forward to bachelor parties and strip clubs. All it does for me is get me all jacked up for a few hours, then I go home and strangle my sausage. Yippee. If you are a single guy and can somehow manage to lay down a stipper, then by all means, go for it. If you know you are not going to get laid for whatever reason, save your money. I'd rather go to the club, throw a few drinks down some girl's throat and get the real thing.

I actually have that view on the clubs as well...I've never been to one and don't plan on going. It's a HUGE waste of cash and a major tease. Why waste your time and money to watch people dance around naked? All my friends want me to go but I wouldn't go with them.

Exactly, I had the same view point as others no more than a year ago....till somebody dragged me to one and it was fun as hell. Like I said before, those chicks have talent and are performers just as any other type of performer. Its a taboo type of job to have but money is money. If thats the only way they know how to get it, then more power to them.

My GF has no problems with me going to strip clubs, as long as it's not an everyday thing. I've been to a couple bachelor parties recently and she didnt care at all.

I also went to a bachelor party that didn't involve a strip club and it was boring as hell. I'm not saying a strip club is a must, but you need some form of entertainment for a large group of guys. This bachelor party we had a bbq at my buddies place (his fiance was there) then went out to a bar. It was an ok time, but was just like any normal night.

I had more fun hitting the tables, and actually gaining something, rather than throwing of 20's to watch a girl dance for 3 minutes at a time.
I had a buddy do this also. We loaded up in a van and headed to the Detroit/Windsor area for some casinos. It was a great time. We drank...a lot, then went and gambled (bad combination for some) hit three casinos, then we got something to eat and crashed in the hotel room. The closest we got to strippers or naked girls was our pre-casino dinner at hooters.
