Folks,
When people go from being mods to not being mods, they usually don't say anything about it. But I just wanted to take this time to share with you why I've decided to step down as a mod here at OS.
Over the last few months, I've enjoyed visiting OS less and less. The reason can only be attributed to me having to be the bad guy in many sections of these forums. To me...it took all the fun of OS away, and it made me almost forget why I've spent so much damn time here to begin with.
This is a great website, with a great message board and an even greater community. You guys are what make this website what it is...the BEST place for sports gamers on the internet, bar none.
But with my modding duties, I wasn't able to enjoy it like I once was able to...so I decided to step down today. I'll still be around. I'll still contribute. I'll still post probably more than I should...but I won't be playing the bad cop anymore. I just grew tired of it.
I'd like to publicly thank Sully and everyone else who contributes to making these forums as great as they are. All the other green names who helped me when I first started modding...thank you guys.
And to those non-moderator regular OS members...keep this in mind. Moderating this forum is HARD work. Remember that next time you feel like you want to start an argument with a moderator after being warned for whatever reason. They're just trying to keep this place as great as it is. It's not personal.
