Hey, I posted about this in the "What the hell is on your mind" thread, but I'm making an individual thread about this so everyone can see it and potentially help me out.
Starting tonight at 12:01 AM, my brother, Jon Hooe, is going to be in the Alltel Ultimate Fan Contest. The contest participants are 10 students at UVa, and each is vying for a 42 inch HDTV, a 1 GB Samsung MP3 player, and more importantly a chance to run out of the tunnel with the UVa football team and stay with the team on the sidelines when the Cavaliers take on the Miami Hurricanes.
In order for my bro to win all this, I need you all's help. The contest is decided simply by a popular vote. Thus I am trying to get as many people possible to vote for my brother. You'll need to go to this website: http://www.alltelvote.com/Hoos3 to vote for Jon. You can vote up to 2,000 times, so please if you have some time, vote early and often.
Voting begins, as I said before, at 12:01 AM tonight, and ends a week after that on November 4. Anyone is eligible to vote, so long as you have a cellular phone.
Anyone that can help my bro out (again, his name is Jon Hooe), I'd greatly appreciate it (my bro would appreciate it also, haha). Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Another thing, my brother has set up a group on Facebook (just search for his name, you'll find it). If you are in the group and he wins the contest, he's going to randomly raffle off the MP3 player prize (at no charge, and he will pay shipping). There's an incentive to help him out, right?
