Thanksgiving Plans

Any OSers traveling over the Thanksgiving holidays?

For me, ours starts tomorrow. We're having my grandparents and aunt over tomorrow night because the're going out of town so we're cooking them dinner.

On Thursday, we'll be doing lunch between noon and 1pm. Should have ham, turkey, etc. Then I'll have to go to my other grandparents house for a 4 or 5pm meal.

Of course, I'll be watching all three NFL games, and playing College Hoops 2k7.

It should be a great day. Heck, it should be a great weekend with more CH2k7 and the Pats/Bears game on Sunday.

Anyways, what are you guys plans?

My sister is coming home for a few days tomorrow, and we're going to Whittier where my grandma lives for some good Thanksgiving dinner.

That's basically it.

I'll go visit my folks for a couple days in FL for Thanksgiving and then stop in Auburn for a couple days on the way back to spend time with my wife's parents. It'll be a nice break from work for a few days. We usually go to a Thanksgiving night movie every year, probably go see Stranger than Fiction or that holiday movie that's out.

Both sides of the family are coming to my house (parents house). Going to eat and watch football ALL day! Plus its extra special because Tampa is playing. Doesnt get much better than this.

My family will eat dinner on thursday around 4.

Then we'll go our separate ways and act like it was just another meal.

My family is going to be in a moving process, with me and my son heading to Aurora, CO to spend time with my family while my wife is heading with our stuff to Springfield, IL, where she'll settle in and start work at her new office.

Hectic times!

working, which i do every year.. Thanksgiving is the one holiday I chose to work - so I can be off on Xmas & NYD.. at least i dont have to work till close of the place, I should be out by 6 pm.. after that, heading to the grandparents for my turkey & desert...

late lunch/early dinner at my parents with the wife and kids, football nonstop from thursday to sunday. one of the best holiday/holiday weekends of the year as far as i am concerned, plenty of food and plenty of pigskin. to all that are traveling, BE SAFE!!!

Rainbow Six, Buccaneers vs Cowboys, Rainbow Six, Sleep because the next day is BLACK FRIDAY and got to get myself a router and maybe even a HDTV.

I'll be leaving for NY tomorrow night/Thursday morning. We'll be staying with my mother. My sister, my nephew and my uncle should be stopping by, so hopefully I won't have to travel too much. My wife already said she wouldn't pester me about going to see her family (since she doesn't really wanna go see them either), so I can stay home and watch football and stuff my face... If the Heels beat Gonzaga tomorrow, I'll probably try to get tickets to the Preseason NIT at the Garden on Friday.

I'll also echo colkilla, I hope everyone else who is traveling gets to and from their destination safely!!!!

I have to work thanksgiving. Only have to work 1:15-5:15pm, but I will be late to dinner.

Have to work all the main holidays this year

Gonna be heading from school (Penn State) to home (Pittsburgh) any minute now. Then I head back up here on Sunday... our breaks suck.

Going to my grandparents in CT where most of my family lives. Probably play some football on Thursday AM, followed by excessive amounts of food, beer and football. Probably hit the Casino at some point during the weekend as well.
