I love the faster load times of the 360 but I had a regular 360 and an Elite give me the 3 red lights so after the latter 360 died I opted to go PS3.

Usually asinine, but in this case awesome because of the last post in it. But still, usually asinine aside from the rare instance of comedic value.

Next gen consoles - buy within first 6 months of release, or after?

This is like a more organized Off topic.

Edit: I'm gonna try to buy one when I can, I think the PS4 is a must buy within the first six months, and I've completely changed my stance on this, as I wasn't even interested, then next gen 2k14 happened, and I'm all in.

I'm the opposite. I was crazily trying to decide what to preorder, then I realized I didn't really care that much about launch titles (or they were all available on current gen as well).

I'd rather wait until we get more serious info on system quality. Don't want to jump in with unknowns.
