Winter is here........

It took a while but it is now here. Well okay, not officially here for another 15 days, but it is snowing and there are accidents. I always wonder how New England residents forget to drive in the first snow fall of the year. Yesterday my normal 45-50 minute drive to school took 90 minutes. There were 4-5 accidents contributing to this, all of which were cars who spun out, it didn't look like any were multiple vehicle accidents to me thankfully.

Oh, and is there anything better than seeing a sports car spun out in the winter? I think not......

My Mustang. I'm saving up for a 'Stang. It may not be the best but it has been the car i've wanted forever. Of course it sucks to drive that in the snow, but i'll make due. Until then, it's driving my Camry. So far no snow here.

Driving in the snow sucks though. It's not when there is a lot of snow but when there is alike an inch or so is when it is hardest.

I wanted a Mustang but the realities of living in northern Massachusetts won out and we got a Wrangler instead. I have had a Mustang, and they are worthless in the snow even with studded tires.

I love winter and the cold, great time of year. Fortunately though living in New Haven we're right on the Sound and don't get a ton of snow fall compared to the towns 10 miles north.

I don't mind the cold actually, it is the howling winds that get me. I am fine in a t-shirt when it is into the teens out if there is no wind.

I am bracing for a nasty winter right now, our ferrets have put on the thickest coats I've ever seen and their instincts are dead on for the weather change.

I don't mind the cold actually, it is the howling winds that get me. I am fine in a t-shirt when it is into the teens out if there is no wind.

Yeah i'm fine in a T-shirt also, it's when it is windy that it sucks. Last year was pretty uneventful as far as snow. We got all our snow with a blizzard. I don't mind the snow. I'm in North NJ and we get a good amount of snow every year.

We got an inch or so yesterday, haven't gotten more than that yet. It's started to get cold and windy though. Last week I was wearing shorts it was in the 50s and 60s. Now it's been in the teens and windy.

I don't know how much we got in Springfield yesterday, it was melting as soon as it hit the ground.

It's already snowed here a few times. I hate cold weather. I don't mind the snow, it's the cold that gets to me.

I love winter, all you have to do is dress warm and you're fine. Can't wait to go snowboarding this weekend.

the cold doesn't bother as much as the wind but it is always windy in Nebraska because it is so flat.

Good thing you don't live in the Canadian prairies they regularly get -20 weather PLUS windchill.

I hate anything to do with winter except for Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

i like the cold only if it snows or rains.. coldness and nothing to show for it is a waste of my time

That's why I don't think I would ever be able to live in those climates. It would feel weird being winter and having temperatures in the 70s.
