    Warm up CD

Well I'm thinking about making a Mix CD for our schools basketball team, my friend plays on the team so I'm going to give the mix to him. If you didn't know most schools play mix of songs during pre-game layups and such. Any suggestions on songs? Rap/Hip-hop usually music of choice (duh)
18-1 hell of a season regardless

    Puff Daddy f. Notorious B.I.G. - "Victory"
Eminem - "Go to Sleep" (although that has explicit lyrics, so won't be able to play outloud)

Hmm, thats about all I know from Rap.

Lol...the only one that would apply in a sports game is pump it up by Budden. Locked up and Wanna be a baller?! Lol..great songs though

my suggestion would be to use sports theme songs for the warmup like 2 unlimited - get ready for this , if rap is the choice then Yung Joc - it's Goin Down/Trickdaddy - Take it to the House/Master P & No Limit AS -Make em say Ugh!/DMX - Ruff Ryder Anthem/Party up in here...and if you guys manage to lose, cue up Afroman's - because I got high! YOu'll make an impression I'm sure of it.

Blah at all the rap posted in this thread. Never got me pumped up really. Give me some good rock anyday to pump me up.

Best I can think of is "Riot" by Three Days Grace. Give it a listen, and you'll see why.

Either that or "Prelude 12/21" by AFI.

Thunderstruck and Wanna be a Baller always got me pumped up. As did Bullet with Butterfly Wings...

Same here....but the man asked for rap, so who are we to deny a man his request?!

"Jump Around" by House of Pain is a classic. We've been listening to that, "We Fly High" by Jim Jones, and "Presidential Remix" by the Youngbloodz and Akon. Varsity's CD has "Show Me What You Got" by Jay-Z on it aswell.

That's like a minute and a half long.

I'm sure different people warm up to different music. I always listen to my own mix of AFI, 30 Seconds to Mars, Three Days Grace, Silverstein, Thrice, Hawthorne Heights, etc.

Well, more of a "pumpup" song I guess than warmup, but it still works.

I finally found the song that I wanted to help you out with...This jam was used in Knicks playoff games, the last time Knicks were actually in the playoffs.
