Well, I stepped outside tonight to clear my mind a little tonight (well, this morning because it was 5 AM) because the stars and such are just serene. Well, I thought something was screwy with lights hitting my glasses cause I thought I was seeing shooting stars. I thought that the only good meteor shower was the Leonid which was last month, but according the story on the front page of Yahoo, I saw the best one of the year. Apparently from midnight until dawn (so those of u who read this before the sun comes up still have a chance) tonight was peak of the showers. I'm sure they will be around for a day or two, though. So for any of you who like meteor showers, keep your eyes out for these

Wow, I saw one last night. Just left work at midnight and saw what I thought was a shooting star, but much closer. It was a huge streak of white light that faded before it landed.
