1. Star Wars Phantom Menace- The Scene where the doors open to reveal a cloaked Darth Maul standing in the way of the "Good guys". Absolutely badass lightsaber duel between Qui-Gonn and Obi Wan vs a DOUBLE LIGHTSABER WIELDING, NINJA DEMON!! How cool of a bad guy was he?!

2. Glory-The scene where Matthew Broderick playing Robert Shaw gets shot and the 54th Massachusetts rallys behind his death and storms Ft. Wagner to some of the best music ever in a movie. I still tear up when that happens.

3. Gladiator- After winning a battle in the arena, Maximus and his Gladiators come face to face with the Emperor who killed his family. When he reveals himself to the Emperor..it is one of the ultimate..."Yeah..that's right. You f***ed me and now I've come back to return the favor." Awesome scene.

1. Heat: Bank heist shoot-out in dowtown LA
2. Saving Private Ryan: landing at Omaha Beach. Perhaps the most intense action sequence ever
3. Black Hawk Down: when the Rangers and Delta are coming on the helos for the attack; love the scene where they are flying over the beach

Agree on bank heist in "Heat" and Omaha Beach landing in "Saving Private Ryan."

I'll add the scene in "Apocalypse Now" when the helicopter gunships are preparing to destroy the Vietnamese town and Robert Duvall orders the pilot to crank Wagner's "Flight of the Valkyries."

That is my No. 1 movie scene of all time. Napalm and machine gun fire evaporate a town while Wagner's masterpiece symphony roars in the background. Talk about a strange dichotomy.

I'll also add the scene in "Gettysburg" when Pickett returns from his charge and is ordered to charge again with a regiment, and Pickett responds, "Sir, I have no regiment."

The final scene in "In America," in which the father and his two daughters are on the fire escape and the two daughters help the father deal with the death of his young son by talking to him in the heavens, is amazing. If you've seen the film, you know what I mean. There are so many powerful scenes in that movie, it's ridiculous, but that one grabbed me the most.

There are more powerful scenes in "Band of Brothers" than I can count. The entire fashion show scene in "Slap Shot" -- "I'm gonna wiggle my dick at 'em, Joe!" -- is an absolute comedy classic.

1. The Natural - Hobbs blasts a home run to clinch the pennant at the end of the movie. Hard to top the goosebumps I get everytime I watch this scene.

2. Superman Returns - (2 Scenes): 1st, when we finally see Superman "return" to rescue the airplane. One of the coolest action scenes i've ever seen, and it marked the return of my favorite superhero. 2nd, after he is rescued by Lois in the water, when he flies up to absord the suns rays and "re-energize". I get bigtime goosebumps watching this scene, especially when he gets that pissed off look on his face right before he blasts back down through the clouds.

3. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: The final 3 way shootout. One of the greatest scenes ever put to film. BIGTIME intensity, followed by a very sudden shootout, and a great bit of comedy when 'Ugly' finds out he has no bullets in his gun.

The Village attack in Apocalypse Now. No other point in a movie has come close.

Also, the ending with the The Doors playing as Sheen completes his mission is fantastic.

Damn straight, C! That entire movie is filled with phenomenal scenes. My favorite film of all time.
