    Nutrition/Working Out

    Well here is the deal...

Most of you know that I swim, and I guess I could say I am pretty good but I'm looking at going to Junior Nationals next year and I'm thinking to myself that swimming alone isn't going to get me there. For the most part my schedule would be going to school, comming home, going to practice, comming home, doing homework and going to bed. All of my physical training, is from swim practice. I normally eat breakfast (cereal), a lunch purchased at school (for example spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and a dr. pepper can), lunch at home (maybe another bowl of cereal or some chips), dinner (pasta or some meat or soup).

I really think that the physical training for me is good:

    6 days a week

4-4:45 - Dryland training (mostly resistance training (ie lunges, iso pushups and some small work with 5 pound dumbells like laterals)
    4:45 to 6:30 - 4,000 yard high-intensity workout

1 week out of every 4 weeks we go to the Gold's Gym and participate in whats called Ultra Fit.

Thats a pretty good site on what exactly is done at Ultra Fit. My first week of this Ultra Fit program is this comming week.

So my main concern is the dieting/nutrional side of this workout. I've been trying to keep track of what I have been eating and I'm starting to cut out soda completly from my diet. Im also drinking lots and lost of water.

I've been wondering if I should take some supplements like amino acids, creatine, whey protein, or any of that stuff. I dunno too much on this type of stuff so if any of you guys could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

    suggestions or comments?

I drink large quanties of water, take vitamins, get plenty of sleep, and run daily. I'm naturally strong so I don't have to lift weights.

I took a couple supplements while getting into the bulk of our lifting program for baseball here at school.

      Here's what I was on...
FiveTetra - this gets rid of the burn you feel when you work out so you can go longer
SuperPump - an NO-Explode type pre-workout drink that is a stimulant and opens up the blood vessels to get more blood to the muscles. Side-effect : gas (no joke)
Novadex - testosterone booster (it naturally boosts your testosterone). This one is to take with caution. It can make your testosterone abnormally high, which could show up on a drug test. I had no problem.

My workouts were for baseball. I'm a pitcher. (But the most athletic one we have). I'm 6'3" -- 215 lbs. (I can move though, faster than most of the kids on our team and all the pitchers)

But yea, if you have any questions..ask.

Can anyone suggest any good fat burning supplements with enphedora in it? I know they lifted the ban but I use to take Ripped Fuel and it really helped my work outs. The guy at GNC told me Ripped Fuel products will not put enphedora even though the ban has been lifted.

At the moment all Im taking is 2 centrum tablets a day.

Any good supplements that I should consider?

I dont have a single clue about any of these supplements, I've ben looking at creatine and some whey protein

But I got a quick question...If protein is made out of amino acids, then what is the difference?
