The AV stand shouldn't take you over 20 minutes, they are simple.

Nice setup Heelfan, that TV looks familiar.

        Thanks.

Candy, that stand I have must be different than yours. Mine came together already.

doh! That makes sense. I wanted an open one but my wife gave me fits over every stand I picked out. I have to open the door when I play 360 on mine because it will get too hot closed in.

I put it together last night, it's very nice and now matches my TV stand. Thanks jpup for posting or else I wouldn't have found such a nice AV Stand.

I would leave it open, you don't want it overheating.

As long as that A/V stand from Walmart fits, I'll probably getting that sometime this week. I'm like you Candy, I am dreading those wires

It took me a good 15 minutes to hook all those damn wires again.

The back of my TV has so many wires that it is disgusting. I can't wait to get that receiver next week, that should help condense some wires since I can get rid of my component switch box + I can use more optical cables now.

I guess you all got me thinking about finally getting a proper stand for my TV. I've had it on a coffee table and since I'm in my own space here in the basement I wasn't concerned about the decor.

Last night browsing in Target I saw a stand that matched my TV on clearance for $99. Then the only one they had left said "as-is, repackaged" for only $26 I took a chance and it was brand new. Here's the new set up:

It was easy to put together, but moving all the equipment and wiring was a pain.

You know, I've looked again and that's not 2K...it's an actual game.

                          Damm...hard to tell nowadays

This is my temporary set up. It's been really hard to build anything up as we've been moving between countries a few times.

Hoping to settle in one spot some time in the next 12-24 months.

My TV is too small and I use the sound through the PC via the Creative X-Fi (which sounds amazing in a small room).

Side note: No, that speaker doesn't sit on the 360 while in use
