Oh yeah, and this probably doesn't make a difference but I am a marketing and sport management major so those are probably what they will be focusing on. Thanks.

I need some help guys...
on interview tips. I have 3 interviews coming up (including one this wednesday) with minor league baseball teams about potential internships/jobs for this summer. What would you guys recommend as good interview tips when I go in for these interviews? Any past experiences you'd like to share (either as interviewer or interviewee)? Any help would be awesome...I'm going to be incredibly nervous when I go to these interviews.

Another tip...you HAVE to show a willingness to do anything without asking questions and without complaining. That's the last thing in the world these people want to have to deal with on a game night. They need someone that's going to do what they tell them to do, when they tell them to do it, with a smile on their face. Those game nights are far too crazy to deal with any BS.
Good luck with it. What club is it, if you don't mind me asking? -
Re: I need some help guys...
Remember to stay focused on the basic interview stuff. Regardless of your resume and accomplishments, do not trump yourself up too much. You want to appear professional and well qualified, but not some "young punk" who knows everything already.
If you show a real eagerness and excitement for the job and able to present a clean image and a desire to learn from the position it will help you big time.NCAA Vets League: Arkansas Razorbacks (9-2, 6-1)

Do some research on the Veeck family, if you haven't already. Minor League Baseball adores that family for all of the innovations they helped come up with that helps out clubs to this day. The Veeck family are marketing/promotions geniuses and anyone running a minor league ballclub will know the name and respect the hell out of you for knowing a lot about them.

Also, I have 3 interviews...potentially 4. Yakima Bears (Dbacks affiliate), Spokane Indians (Rangers), Tri-Cities Dust Devils (Rockies), and maybe the Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners).
I also would do ANYTHING I could to get my foot in the door. I know its a process but networking is key so any way that I can get in and work my way up is perfectly fine by me. Its just the getting in part that I have to focus on first.Comment
