I already miss the Chi. They didn't flinch when there was snow on the ground. I was tripping on the other hand though, being from NC and all.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist

Re: WTF is all this white stuff??
Not everyone down here closes because of a few inches. We get it all the time here and its no problem. However once I was visiting my cousin in Georgia and they got around an inch overnight, just enough to make the ground white, and I swear the state shut down. No cars on the road and school was closed. It was pretty damn funny because it all melted by about 9:00 AM.Comment

Re: WTF is all this white stuff??
You southern guys have no idea! Little bit of snow and the entire area shuts down! We'll have a blizzard up here with 0 visibility on the roads and they won't shut anything down.
Although, I can't complain this year. It's been a very mild winter. I think we've had at most 2-3 inches on the ground.
I can appreciate that sentiment. On Thursday, we had a little wet snow in the morning, and from about noon on, it rained the rest of the day. The schools were closed, and the news channels were covering it like it was a freaking blizzard. I was off from work anyway, so when I went in, I found out that the office closed at 10:00 in the morning... I had to laugh... In NY, there could be a foot of snow out there, and nothing would close.Comment
