Sadly (or not) I actually know this answer without looking... mine was Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly". It was #1 most (if not all) of March on '73. 5 years in radio... you learn a few things on the long overnight shifts.
What scares the **** out of me is the number of people here that were born in weeks where I actually owned the album!!! You ****ers are young! Someone said "Livin' on a Prayer"... I had a milestone Junior High moment with that song on in the background.
