    Date Ideas...

    Lets hear 'em....

    Me and this girl I went to school with a long time ago but haven't seen in years are going out for the second time tonight. We were acquaintances back then but never hung out, but now we are grown up and happen to live in the same city again. College aged....no mutual friends or anything.

    Anyone have suggestions? Lets hear some of your old tricks or favorite places to take dates.

                      Funny you say that because I still don't know Raleigh that well and after our first date we were headed back to her place and she was pointing out places on Capital Blvd to me and mentioned Priscillas and how her and her friends used to go there. So I'm sure shes down.

                              We went to dinner at the Village Draft House and then back to my place with a movie. Kind of lame but neither of us could come up with anything during dinner. Shes not in school either and isn't into the whole college party thing.

                                      I'd do something random. Go to a baseball game or a museum or something. Go bowling. Go watch some live music over a drink, or a comedy show. IMO, dinner and a movie is played-out. I don't remember a lot of those dates that I went on (my dates can probably say the same - LOL). But I'll bet my bottom dollar they remember some of the more random stuff we did.

                                          Dinner and a movie played out? Psshh... those have been some of the most fun dates for me.

                                              Well it really depends on the couple.. like if the couple has good chemistry and can be comfortable in a setting where it's just you and her and a movie then that is plenty good for a date.

                                              With certain girls I have felt perfectly fine with popping in a movie and just setting up on the couch.. but with others I felt compelled to go outside and be around other people. It all depends on the couple.

                                                  Go to one of the thousand of malls in the triangle and I'm sure you'll find something to do.

                                                          We ended up just being really casual and getting dinner (she paid, must be a keeper) and hanging out at her place. Ditched her sister and sisters bf who wanted to see Norbit to have some quality alone time..

                                                          Things I really want to do are:
                                                          -NCSU baseball game
                                                          -Hurricanes game
                                                          -Goodnights Comedy
                                                          -maybe a concert

                                                          those were good ideas Dallas
