    A horrible sports parent.

This is a perfect display how some parents are too wrapped up in their kids sports.

Dad flings son's opponent out of wrestling ring

<!-- begin text11 div --> <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="padding-top: 10px;" valign="top"><!-- begin leftcol --><!-- template inline --> AURORA, Ill. -- A father bounded into a youth wrestling match, picked up his son's winning opponent and launched him out of the ring, an episode caught on a home video.
After tossing the 11-year-old boy into the air Sunday, the angry father headed toward the cameraman, the father of the airborne boy.
"I was just wrestling, then the guy throws me," the boy, Nick Nasenbeny of suburban Aurora, told WMAQ-TV in Chicago. It was not known if the boy was injured.
Ray Hoffman, the father in the video and a part-time wrestling coach, told the television station he regrets his behavior and feels embarrassed. He said his son's shoulder was injured. Hoffman also said he will no longer be allowed to coach.
Dean Bogess, a wrestling coach who attended the meet, said Nick was using a legal move to pin his opponent and that the referee was about to stop the match when Hoffman intervened.
"The match was being stopped. He had blown his whistle already," Bogess said.
Nick's father, Dan Nasenbeny, said he was stunned by Hoffman's actions.
"I mean, there is a lot of different ways to stop a match. Not to pick up my son and launch him 5 feet, 10 feet in the air," Nasenbeny said.
Hoffman did not return messages left by The Associated Press.

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

How long until the video hits YouTube?

              EDIT: Immediately, apparently.

The saddest part is that the kid getting pinned is the coach's son. Nice coaching, dip****.

He obviously thought it was a tag team match. Easy mistake for anyone to make.

Um, 5-10 feet is kind of hilarious; maybe 1-3 feet if anything. I don't know why I was thinking of a wrestling ring. A little too tired or something. Maybe that's the 5-10 feet thing that got me mixed up. Messed up how that guy made that foolish response to a athletic match. Let the boy deal with it like a big boy. At least he "loves" his son, or so it seems.

My next door neighbor wrestles for the same association, I guess he was there that day. If it were my kid getting tossed I think I would lose it and probably hit the guy.

This is kind of odd because when I used to wrestle, something somewhat similiar happened to me. In order to compete in the main wrestling meets, our team would have to "wrestle off." The winner would get to represent his weight class for the team at the meet.

The guy I would always wrestle off against was the coach's son, and at one point, his Dad stopped coaching me because I never lost to his son. My cousin would eventually coach me from the sidelines at my meets. The whole thing was a mess, and just shows how immature and unsportsmanlike some people can be.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.
