Unbelievable. Same **** happened to my parents yesterday, in broad freaking daylight.

My dad had been on a business trip to Alabama for a few weeks and came back Saturday night to see my stepmom for the night. He was going to head back Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning, they decided to go to the Acura dealership just look at cars. Since it was Sunday, the gates were locked but still enough room to park in front and walk around the lot.

As my stepmom got out, she noticed a black car (possibly Honda Civic) with really tinted windows flew by, but she didn't think much of it.

They were looking at cars no further than 60 or 70 feet away from their car, and those bastards came back, ripped off the door handle, broke in and took everything. My stepmoms Blackberry, my dads phone, every Credit Card, drivers license, etc.

By that afternoon, they went to cancel all their cards and had been told whoever had the cards had already ordered over $1,000 in merchandise. The sad thing was, it was ordered from Old Navy, Wet Seal and Payless Shoes. I even believe they tried to order doors for vehicle.

The worst part of all came today. My dad called the stores up, and ended up getting the number of the person who ordered. They wouldn't give him the address, which isn't surprising. So he calls the number. I'm not sure if it's this woman (Shelia is her name) cell phone or home phone, but he goes off on her. He's so frustrated and pissed off, he just starts ranting on her voicemail. Starts screaming, cussing, etc.

Of course....guess what they have? His drivers license. Guess what's on the license? Our address.

So now, not only did all their online orders get cancelled and won't be getting of their stuff, they have my dad saying stuff on the voicemail, which I'm sure pissed them off. And yippee, they know exactly where we live.

And my stepgrandmother, who lives here said she saw a black car with tinted windows circle our cove once today already. Not sure if it's them, but it's just odd timing.

We called the cops later tonight to let them know what's been going on.

And the worst part is...

The Acura dealership is moving to a new location across the city, and removed their survailence cameras four months ago. So it's not even on camera that they broke into it.

Honestly, what dealership in their right mind would remove the cameras? Pretty much anyone could go onto the lot and drive off and they wouldn't be caught.

On a somewhat related note, my freshmen year of college I had my laptop stolen from my dorm room by an RA. He was caught because while I out and my roommate asleep on the top bunk, the RA CAME BACK to steal my cell phone. So the idiot was caught and I got my **** back. I believe he was relieved of his RA duties and might have been expelled, I'm not sure.

Damn that sucks AA and Tyler sheesh. I remember a few years back in the early morning hours I went out to my car and I had by accident left my back doors unlocked. Well these two teenagers were rooting around in the back of my car. I had heard someone out there talking loud, because my front door was open so I looked out the window and saw those idiots in there. Went and grabbed my tire iron from the closet came out there and got one in the knee with a shot. The other one ran. I heard later he got caught by the cops because hes buddy gave him up. Well the one I had hit in the knee just layed there and I called the cops and they came to pick his sorry *** up. I hate thieves. If you have to steal things then you don't need them. Get a job and earn it.

If you report that someone stole your credit card, the thief can be tracked down fairly easily, but it would take a few days. Make sure to report it to the police first and then cancel your credit cards.

My house was robbed about 2 1/2 weeks ago, in the middle of the day in a nice neighborhood. my wife went to Target, came back about an hour later and the garage was opened so she called the cops. they took the sliding glass door of the hinges. they stole my 50" Sony HDTV tv, my 360 with about 15 games, over 200 DVDs, some my wife's jewelry and my signed Troy Aikman jersey that was on my wall in my office. i finally got the insurnace check so i am the middle of replacing everything... Now i have an alarm system

Long story short, they stole my Kenwood Excelon CD player and they broke out that little triangle window thing in my back seat. So yeah....damn.

Dam, sorry about your loss OP. I have an $800 GPS system and a 60 GB IPOD in my Grand Cherokee at all times. They're usually covered or hidden but that doesn't mean anything. I have a nice security system on it cuz it's definitely a target to thieves while in parking lots.

They should make cars with built in security cameras that send the feed to something similar of a black box on the vehicle somewhere. That way the crooks are recorded and then the police can take the info from the black box and catch them.

That's exactly why I didn't end up getting a GPS system last summer. My roommate already had her car broken into behind our apartment with nothing of any real interest visible. I don't need to give the crackheads in my neighborhood a bull's eye.

I don't know why but that's hilarious to me.

I thought about getting a GPS system..until those fartknockers took my stuff back in March.

Oh..and I finally have a new IPOD with about 2300 songs on it...so I'm getting back to where I was slowly but surely.
