LOL... yeah... I started Varsity from the middle of my freshman season on. Had 49 in one game...

In a middle school game, I had 62, and almost sat out a whole quarter. I had the flu, and was emulating Jordan, lol.

I don't get it, if you were that good, why wouldn't any college let you come play after your knee healed?

Was your knee that bad that you were never playing again? or what?

Yeah, I rehabbed for a year, and two weeks before my tryout at Xavier (Freshman year of college) I blew out my other knee and called it a career. It wasn't worth it anymore.

I still tried out a couple of smaller college's to get into shape for my DI tryouts after rehab, but after I blew it out my right knee completely, I was through.

I just looked at it as "It's not meant to be"... ya know.

I can still get out and play with the Morehead State team, and have my way with them, but I just don't have the same drive to play anymore. I love the game, but my focus has shifted attention elsewhere in life.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. If you were that good I am sure they would have taken you still! Oh well sucks you got injured. Also who is that on your avatar? Is that Moby?

Personal Achievement: Got through a really rough time in my marriage. 4 years later, we have 3 beautiful boys.

I've been married seven years. We went through some tough times also (all my own fault) and getting through them like you have, with three sons now, is a great achievement. Well done

Personal - About to graduate from the University of Notre Dame in May with a degree in Finance *knock on wood*

Athletic - Currently I'm in the career top 10 ERA at ND *knock on wood*

(By the way, after entering today's game with a 0.59 ERA -- I then went on to give up 4 ER in 1.0 IP. South Florida ripped me! )

And ouch, 4 ER in 1 inning... ouch. Still shouldn't hurt you too bad though... depending on how much you've pitched this year.

Personal - Two of them. Marines. Unfortunately this led to a medical discharge, so I never accomplished what I wanted there. My second would be my bachelors degree at DeVry University. Soon hopefully this will be replaced with a masters degree I'm working on.

Athletic - HS Football playoffs. It was 10-15 seconds left in the fourth quarter and a tie game. QB throws a lob and I intercept it and broke it off for a game winning TD as time expired. I never felt what I felt in sports when I did that. It was just amazing. An hour later I felt the pain on my hip, I guess I tweaked it while sprinting. LOL But it was awesome.
