Been a tough few weeks.......

Sure going to Buffalo, NY to see Duke lose in heartbreaking fashion was tough, but getting in a car accident and losing my best friend thanks to a drunk driver was ten times worse than Duke losing. Top it off I was riding in the passenger seat and we get hit, I get out and try to do CPR and bring him back, but he dies in my arms. I'm just numb and my favorite time of the year *March Madness* just doesn't have the same feel.

Shi_ man, that's crazy. Just crazy. I can't imagine experiencing something like that. Sorry to hear about that Diddy..

Oh man that's tragic. Sorry for your loss Diddy. Just make sure you talk to someone...it's never easy dealing with death.

Yeah this is my 6th friend killed by a drunk driver. In high school 5 of my friends left a party, and I stayed, because a friend *who was a girl* stayed behind and I wanted to make sure nobody did anything to her. Well they got killed by a drunk driver. I drink sometimes, but never get behind the wheel. Pisses me off!!! Seriously I hate drunk drivers and they always seem to get up and walk away from the accident, while innocent people are killed or seriously hurt.

My condolences and good luck bro. My father is a firefighter and has had the same thing happen, although not with people he knows. It is still incredibly traumatic for him. Please, if you ever feel the need, talk to someone (anyone) about it.

Man that's horrible. Losing 6 friends is definitely 6 too many. I lost an uncle to a drunk driver when I was about 10 yrs old or so. My uncle wasn't even driving. He was crossing the street to get a pack of smokes and the drunk driver veered off the road onto the sidewalk and struck him killing him instantly. You never really get over a death like that. It seems so pointless.

I go out drinking on the weekends as well and my friends and I always either call a cab or a friend to pick us up. It's amazing how many people actually walk out a place drunk and get behind the wheel. I also just found out that a guy I went to high school with is in jail because he got 3 DUI's in a matter of two months. I say good for him. Maybe prison will knock some sense into him. It does seem that drunk drivers always walk away unscathed which is a travesty. It's just not fair. You can add me to the hate drunk drivers club as well.
