Attn: Houstonians - Things to do at the Woodlands town center?

Hey brothers, I am flying into Houston, TX this Sunday morning for a job interview taking place on Monday.
It's a big organized event where the company is shuttling all the candidates to this Woodlands Town Center area, about 30 mins from downtown Houston. I think it's in Spring, TX. The company has booked up most of the (little) time I have in the area, butI would like to know if there any decent bars to hit up at night in this area? Know any good hookers?

I'm not gonna have a car, so anything in walking distance of this place would be cool. I checked out the website for this Woodlands place, and it seems like a corporate sell out kinda environment. It seems sterile. Maybe it isn't, but it seems like a cruise ship, just on land. Is there anything that's not some huge chain restaurant that I can hit up which will give me a decent idea of what the Houston area is like?

I've never been to Tejas, so I figure why not check out the atmosphere while I am there for the day. I have after 9 PM on Sunday night free to check some ish out. Not really looking to get wasted because being hungover for a job interview probably isn't the best idea. Maybe it would help me though.

And no, I am unable to hit up the Rockets game on Sunday night, or the Astros season opener on Monday due to the whole car thing and being 30 mins away from downtown. Really sucks, but that's the hand I have been dealt. I'm also primarily there to interview for the job, and not to be chillin out, so I understand what the priorities are..

If you are going down there for a job interview...my advice would be to lay as low as possible because you don't know who might be watching. Just my $.02

LOL, I hear ya. It's unlikely that I will end up getting wasted and start dancing on a table or sucking down jello shots off some slutty college girl. Or start up fistfights with the locals while shouting "Boston, wot", like the Real World Austin. I probably shouldn't hit up any titty bars in the area, if they exist.

I would think that if I saw some hiring dude at a titty bar, it would be a positive thing though. It's too bad the world doesn't work like that. When I'm an old man, I promise not to be judgmental about these kinds of things.

But yeah, point taken. I'd still like a decent restaurant reccomendation if anybody knows the area. I'll probably just hit up the hot tub and swimming pool at the hotel and keep it clean during any free time.
