Junior Prom

Well Junior Prom for me is in Mid May, and lucky me I have already been lucky enough to find a date, through the help of one of my friends he asked the girl what she thought of me, he told me it was good and I asked her and she said yes...

Now whats the best way to stay in touch with her, shes a sophmore, so I don't see her much throughout the day, plus me being a in a trade school I have Shop when she has academics. Like how often a week should approach talking to her, it's not like i'm going out with her so it's different.

And I know her kind of well but I never really talk to her much, one of her friends is going out with my friends, plus I saw her alot during winter because she was on the girls basketball team, and we would usually carpool to mcdonalds or some place before a game.

Figured or hoping anyone has or had a situation like this or has some advice...

You should talk to her more now that you're going to prom. Make a plan to meet up with her sometime to go over all the prom details - sharing a limo with anyone, making sure your clothes match, where's dinner & with who, who's paying for all of it, etc. That's a great excuse to talk to her, & hopefully that will start you on the right path. It wouldn't hurt to get a date or two in before prom if you feel like it.

It is still March, you'll probably end up going with someone else like I did. Asked this girl out in April and by the end of April I ended up taking her best friend to prom. How life works... Which was actually the original girl I planned on asking anyway.

Prom was probably one of the most overrated things in my life. The stuff afterwards was great, but the actual prom itself I hated.

But, yes talk to her a lot more now that you are going to prom with her. Get to know her better so it won't seem awkward when you are at prom with her.

Junior prom sucked. Rained the entire night so the floor of the place we had it was wet. Not to mention the cops busted the afterparty at around midnight so everyone was pretty much forced to end the night early.

Because of that disaster, I dipped out on SR prom and went to the beach for 3 days.
