One of the craziest things I have ever seen while I was awake is a door knob turning on its own. I was out in a barn behind my house listening to the raido and all of a sudden I heard a clicking noise. I didnt know where the noise was coming from so I turned down the raido and started walking closer to the noise and lo and behold, the door knob was turning on its own. I was thinking this cant be really happining. There was a window next to the door so I peeked out of it thinking one of my brothers was trying to scare me, but when I didnt see anyone thats when I really got worried. I was wanting to leave the barn but the only way out was through the door with the turning knob LOL. So I just had to build up the nerve and just grab the knob open the door and run like speedy gonzales to the house.

I've had this happen too but I know that I'm dreaming while I'm in the middle of the dream. Don't ask me how I know this but I just wait for myself to wake up. One time I had the feeling that it was a dream and I thought I "woke" up only to go into another dream and then finally wake up for real...mind-blowing I know. Someone mentioned to me that it could've been a lucid dream but I don't have any godly idea of what happened to me.

That was definitely a lucid dream. I think it'd be awesome.

I had sleep paralysis happen to me once, a couple months ago. My eyes opened, but I couldn't move at all, except for my eyes. It was kind of weird, but I had heard of it before so I wasn't too freaked out. At first I was just going to close my eyes and go back to sleep because I was still really tired, but I wanted to roll over on my side so I ended up breaking out of it by just trying really hard to move my arm.

It was definitely a crazy feeling. If I recall correctly I think it was some sort of shadow that was chasing me and I thought I had gotten away. I thought this because I heard my usual clock alarm going off in the background. But that piece of **** started chasing me again! So now I'm running away again and as soon as the shadow went to grab me my eyes opened and of course my alarm clock was going off. I woke up sweaty, startled, and breathing heavily. I was just happy that it didn't get me.

That was definitely a lucid dream. I think it'd be awesome.

I had a lucid dream about 2 years ago and man was it amazing. I was funny because me and my freind got big into the lucid dream talk for about two weeks straight and neither one of us ever had one, then a week later I had one and it was something I like I never been through...I was in a school and it was empty and I was running from this guy who was like 8 feet tall and didn't have a face, it was scary. I was also running with another person I never saw in my life, we were running from it together until we split, the dream was a nightmare, I ran into a emtpy classroom, and from all the talk me and my freind had about the lucid dreams, I remembered reading that if you remember to look at a clock in your dreams that the hand will always be missing, and that will help you know that your in a dream, and you can take over the dream if u can remember certin tests, so in the dream I looked at the clock and I saw know hands, and in the dream I said holy crap I'm dreaming, then I starting thinking of these two hot girls that I worked with and boom there they were, just like I wanted them and you guys know the rest...LOL. It's worked and the thing that was chasing me was completly gone and it was me and them chicks...Having a lucid dream is flat out amazing.

crazy right, I wish I had lucid dreams all the time, when your dreaming and you know you are it's something amazing, it's like you have power, you can do anything in your dream you want, the only thing is when dream becomes lucid it doesn't last very long. because you mind must be bugging out even know your asleep...read up on and you will really get into it.

crazy right, I wish I had lucid dreams all the time, when your dreaming and you know you are it's something amazing, it's like you have power, you can do anything in your dream you want, the only thing is when dream becomes lucid it doesn't last very long. because you mind must be bugging out even know your asleep...read up on and you will really get into it.

I usually have a hard time even remembering my dreams.

Not me, I wish I can get tested somehow, I can remember all my dreams, I mean in detail, it's crazy, because when I tell people about my dreams they say how the hell do you remember all that, I say I don't know I just do.

Alright, well I have a pretty good wierd sleep-related story.

Last night, I has deraming an I looked down in the middle of the dream and realized my let arm was missing. Then I immediately woke up... and the same arm had fallen asleep. I've never had an arm fall asleep on me before. Such a wierd feeling, when all you can do is flop it around until it wakes up.

I don't know if this is true or not and seems somewhat related but I heard that sometimes when people go under or whatever it is they do during surgery. People will actually wake up during the surgery and they can hear and feel what's going on, like totally be conscious but they can't move or say anything. Now THAT would suck.
