    Hats Off to Operation Sports

I'm a member of several message boards. This one is as NoleFan ofcourse and the others as supersigma2of21 or just plain Sigma. There's something about OS that has made this a staple over the years. Maybe it's the variety in sports discussion or maybe it's the people but I'm proud to call Operation Sports my internet home.

Agreed. I've been here closing in on 5 years. 4000 plus posts...which I still find amazing.

I wouldn't have 500 posts on every other internet board combined. I rarely post at other places I read.

Here though, I enjoy the conversations and banter. I consider some of the fellas good friends...even though we've never met and may well never meet.

    This is a good site.

I agree. I'm on OS regularly, although I'm much more of a lurker than a poster (as you can probably tell by my post count).

Re: Hats Off to Operation Sports

I definately agree on that. I have narrowed down how many sites I visit because of this site. For instance, I used to go to different gaming sites for info, but now all you have to do is scroll down the list of many topics to see what's up in Sports Gaming, Sports, Entertainment and News.

I have also learned to not bother posting something "new," because most definately, Flawless has posted it.

It'd be neat to see what the initial vision was for OS and then compare it to what it is today.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

I, too, feel as you. I find myself reading nearly half of everything posted and I always gain quite a bit of insight. I feel like I am actually "acquainted with" several of the members here.

One day I dream of winning the lottery and flying everyone to Vegas where we will hold an official OS Convention!

I feel the same sentiment. After being unjustly banned from another site I was allowed back on this site (for which I am still grateful Steve, Clay, Sully, etc). It is great to be able to talk about numerous different sports on this site, usually with a fair level of good discussion. I really wish I made the change years ago, I much prefer this place to Utopia or whatever it calls itself now.

Co-sign everything that's been said. I've been around for 4 1/2 years and its a great thing that Steve and everyone else have developed over the years. I'm more of a lurker than poster but at least when I get my first paycheck of the summer it'll be going to donate to this great site.

                            When was the site created?
Well I use to post some, but too many complaining over opinionated people on here. But it makes great comedy relief sometimes.

I too am a lurker yet I enjoy reading most of the stuff on the boards, except for the I like a girl what should I do threads... Actually alot of comedic gold comes out of those threads, especially from Clay.

None the less I think that OS holds its poster to a higher standard than most other forums. An immature spammer is not tolerated around here which I definitely appreciate. I guess we can credit Steve and the Mods who take time out of their day to sift through a lot of the crap.

Oh and aengeorge's, I think thats his name, posts just brighten my day up with the sound of laughter
