iPod Nano (Help)

Anyone out there with a Nano ever have it freeze up on them? Mine is completely locked up right now and can't do anything about it. Not playing. Screen frozen. None of the buttons doing anything. The power is still on.

Anyone?

I don't have a Nano, but is there that reset button that has to be pressed with like a tip of a paperclip somewhere on it? That's the hard reset for the player.

Couldn't you take out the batteries? (I don't own one so as far as I know it works off of a watch battery)

I've had this happen a couple of times to my 30GB iPod.

In all honesty, it pissed me off, but all I could do was wait it out.

Hold down the middle circle button and the Menu button at the same time. Since it froze, it might take about 30 seconds for the Apple logo to appear. Then you can release it.

If that doesn't work, I guess you're screwed.

Haha, yep that's what you do. I had to tell people that everyday when I worked in Wireless at Best Buy. It also happened to my little sister's ipod but I fixed it for her.

I bought a NANO and it did this to me as well. It seems to do it quite often and only when I scroll thru to the album art. I really wish I could be rid of that since I only listen to Stern, Bubba, O&A , World Soccer Daily, and some other podcasts on it.
