If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

i'm getting a Sam's Club membership this weekend and one of the reasons is their gas is a lil bit less expensive."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

"While consumers pay record gas prices, Big Oil reaps record profits," Stupak said. "Last year, ExxonMobil profits were 39.6 billion dollars, the largest profit of any company ever. ExxonMobil generated $75,000 a minute, twice the yearly median household income in my congressional district."

Re: I can't afford to drive my car anymore.
man, with these prices you guys are getting, I'm not going to complain much about 3.19 a gallon. However, I had to sink over a grand in my car to fix numerous problems, which were affecting my gas mileage. I just couldn't take filling my car up every two days anymore.

lol, you're the first guy I've seen on here living in Concord too. I'd drive from here to Davidson College and back every day, which took half a tank of gas.Last edited by bkfount; 05-24-2007, 12:50 PM.Comment

Re: I can't afford to drive my car anymore.
It is $3.04 here now. I had to get rid of my Jeep Wrangler because it was getting way too expensive to drive in the early spring when gas was in the $2.60 range, now the way it had taken to guzzling fuel it would be a pretty lawn ornament. I am so glad I went with the Sebring convertible, it's gas isn't ideal but with my driving style it gets 23 mpg on average, if I was a better driver (less aggressive more so) it would be even better.Comment

Re: I can't afford to drive my car anymore.
How is this happening?!? In Iowa I've been conditioned to having some of the cheapest fuel in the country with the ethanol subsidies and whatnot, but now it's $3.29 here and that seems to be about average for the U.S. Whatever happened to the good old days, when gas had hit $3/gallon in the big cities and was still under $2.50 here?Comment

Man I can't believe earlier this year(well 2006) that gas was actually below $2. I really hope it goes down soon cause this is ridiculous.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
