    Re: Happy Memorial Day!

Each and every one of those soldiers or servicemen/servicewomen deserves special thanks for all their sacrifices.

I would never want to live in any other country, and they have made and will continue to make it possible to live here with health, prosperity, and safety.

    God Bless America.

I echo the sentiments of everyone here, with a big thank you to all those who have served or do so currently.

A special thanks to my friend DJ, who was killed in Afghanistan 2 years ago. He was a Navy SEAL, here's an article about him if anyone's interested.

This right here is what pisses me off. It seems as if everyone has forgot about the soldiers who are serving in Afghanistan.

Move along... I don't think anyone consciously ommitted the soldiers in Afganistan.

Sorry if they ruined your Memorial Day.

No, they didn't ruin my Memorial Day. But, if you pay attention, all the news covering the US and wars, is about Iraq. Hardly any mention of Afghanistan. Then you have a guy only pay thanks to those who serve in Iraq.

I don't want to get into politics, because I know it is against the ToS. Just stating an observation.
