We need rain!!!

Geez...

Here in Birmingham..we've had a total of ONE day of rain in the last 2 weeks with no real relief in sight. We are already on water restrictions and my grass is dying a slow death, even with me spending way too much on my water bill the last couple of months.

Combined with last year..these have the two driest summers I can remember.

Someone do a rain dance please.

Seems like every year its the same thing, "we need rain blah blah blah, water restrictions blah blah blah"....I don't know, this just seems normal to me, and how do we run out of water anyway?

We need rain badly as well here in Florida. I live in SW Florida and the last two days have been pretty bad for us as well. It smells like smoke and you can see the smoke in the air.

The weather people say we should be getting some rain here soon. I hope so or i'm going to start believing in global warming.

We haven't had a day of rain in lord knows when. We're just over 12 inches under the normal for this time of the year with a 20% change of rain Sunday that doesn't look too promising.

We get the smoke here in North Georgia when the winds change and come from the south. We've had it real bad about 3 days or so, visibility was bad, and talking about making it hard to breath.

It was pretty smokey here in Huntsville today as well. Luckily it is suppose to rain some the next few days

It was so bad 3-4 weeks ago that we had to drive with our headlights on. That came from the wildfire in Georgia and Jacksonville.

Yeah 14 or so inches below the average here in Tuscaloosa. I can't remember the last time I even drove in rainy weather here.

Its very dry in northwest Georgia too. Last week we were in Panama City for vacation. My yard was green before I left, and when we got back home it was toast. We're the same age and I too don't ever remember it getting this dry. Its even crazier when you think about how early it is....its not even offically summer yet!

Got that too last week here in Savannah. We are at my son's Field Day at school and they had to make everyone go inside. Not a good field day when you can't go outside.
