Delicious? Personally, I wouldn't go that far. Now an expensive plate at a gourmet restaurant....that's delicious to me.

Of course, I'm also of the "fast food is bad for you and will lead one to an early grave" belief. Maybe medicine will be advanced at a later stage in life, but I'm not willing to take that risk. I figure too many years of destroying my body will only lead to worse things in the future.

i had the wendys buffalo chicken sandwich the other day around 2am after the bar. The whole next day my stomach was killing me. Never having that thing again. Im sticking to the $1.20 honey mustard snack wrap from mcdonalds

There's no $1 value for fast food. You're better off taking that $1 and buying an apple or two.

Society is getting fatter each year and a big reason is that people eat too much fast food. Most of that crap doesn't even taste good.

I highly recommend SuperSize Me (which has an interview with the author of Fast Food Nation as one of the DVD bonuses that is really good) and Fast Food Nation (the book has a lot more information, but the movie has better shock value when you actually see the slaugherhouse at the end. It's one thing to read about how awful it is, but it was incredibly disturbing to actually see it. The footage was real.)

Good suggestions, that movie and book is a big reason I stopped eating that crap. I really wish the government would get off their *** and stop caring about Barry Bonds and look into the chemicals places like McDonalds add to make their food physically addictive.

I agree, now that I stopped eating that crap (2 years in August) I don't really understand how people can eat fast food.

I love that Crunch Wrap Supreme at Taco Bell. A $2 lunch. Still I will only go there every other week or so. I gave up most of the other fast foods because they upset my stomach.

Super Size me was a total Bull**** movie. He was eating like 5000 calories a day, you could eat 5000 calories a day in vegetables and get just as sick as that guy.

Its all about calories in Vs. calories out, health is about genetics. People just dont want to believe that their life span for the most part was decided at birth.

Obviously, he went extreme in the movie (likely for enterntainment value), but that's not even what I liked about the movie. In general, all the information that is presented in the movie, aside from his actual diet, is really interesting and worth being informed about.

You can't beat the Double Cheeseburger for a $1 at Mcdonalds..

Why does it seem everytime something about fast food comes up the same ppl feel they need to post how bad it is is and so on...I'm pretty sure everyone knows its not good for you if you take it to extreme, There's nothing wrong with eating out most places as long as you eat the right portions. I've lost over 60 pounds in the last 2 years and I still eat at Mcdonalds, Burger king and Taco bell (all the time). You just gotta eat 1 burger or such, 2 taco's or 1 big burito. If you go in and order 3 dubs, large fries and Large Coke that is your damn fault and You'll have to pay for that one day.

Geez all the "fast food is bad" people are a buzz kill. The best value used to be the Bell's Zesty Nachos. Now? Probably a Subway footlong sandwich. It will fill you up for the least amount of money.

Yeah it is. Some guy did a spoof on the Supersize Me thing and did a 2000 calorie McDonalds diet and wound up losing like 20 pounds maybe? (Not exactly sure) And his blood work was better (triglycerides and cholesterol) than before the diet.

PS - Best side is the potato side at Taco Bell. I make them myself since there are no taco bells around me. Just make some roasted potatoes and heat up some nacho cheese and top it with green onions and sour cream. Yummy.
