Hilarious way to past the time

This is old,. but I forgot all about it. If you have AIM, send a message to MY IP Relay and let the funnies begin!

It's hilarious. If you don't know, it's made for for people who are deaf so they can talk to someone on the phone while they type over a instant message.. So for instance, what I do sometimes I type to the my ip relay, have them call my cell number and then i type crazy things to say. These people will say ANYTHING.

I had a girl tell me the whole "Mr Ni" song by Mos Def. Sometimes I call my friends or other people, but it's the funniest when you have them call yourself, so you can actually hear what they're saying.

Fun times indeed.

Yea that was funny....until I met a guy who is deaf and actually has to use these types of services sometimes. And I am partially deaf in one ear myself.

I feel a lock coming on real soon ....

i used to deliver pizza in fulton, missouri ... the home of the state school for the deaf. we'd get about 20 - 25% of our business that way. i'd take forever, but at least they're able to have some normalcy.

I used to for amusement until I realized that there are people who actually need it to communicate and doing it for fun only tied up the lines and probably annoyed the relayers.

I must have no heart, but my friend and I was just talking about this last night on AIM:

Him: i haven't pranked anyone with My IP Relay in a minute
Me: LO
Me: L
Me: That **** was hilarious.
Him: dog...hilarious ain't the word. I was telling Karen about it and she was like, "John has a deaf niece that could use that..."
Him: I was like, "LEGIT use? I NEVER thought of that."

yeah I'm not feeling this one either Dookie. I once dated a deaf girl...my family is big into saying I love you, so one night I'm dropping her off and she says night and I blurt out I love you! Thankfully she didn't hear it, but I celebrated her deafness.... An hour later I fell asleep behind the wheel and had a very serious accident!

Moral of the story... Don't rejoice in the disabilities people suffer with... it will always come back to haunt you later.

I don't see why you guys are acting like what Dookie is doing is a sin. It's a fun way to pass the time. Don't give me anything about "deaf people use it, jerk!"

It's not like Dookie, nor anyone else, is doing this to hurt deaf people. Give me a break.

LOL so it was only funny until you meat a deaf person. I guess you thought the service was made to actually do what I was doing and not made for people who are deaf? Did you not know deaf people were out there before you met one? Did you think deaf people were like aliens and only certain people saw them and maybe caught one on tape?

I guess I could go back to screaming at the "deaf" people who pass out notes and try to sell those friendship bracelets in the mall. I know I will catch a faker one day.

I'm not doing it to be mean and I'm not doing it make fun of deaf people at all. I used to do it a long time ago and I saw the name on my AIM list yesterday and had forgot about it, so I tried again and it was funny. Thing is, I'm calling myself. If you ever pranked called someone, you're no better so get off your high horse.

In high school we stumbled across the best prank victim while dialing random numbers. We got this older gentleman to believe that we were an old army pal of his and used to talk about all of the movies we were interested in. We would talk about Jason Takes Manhattan and just about every bad horror movie made. He REALLY believed that we were this guy named "Hal" and the last time we spoke to him he started by saying, "I was just thinking about you. I was wondering if you were going to call again..."

The next two times we called a younger woman picked up and we hung up the phone. I hope he didn't die. He was my favorite old army pal...
