    Visiting Toronto

I'm going to be visiting Toronto in a couple months, and I'll have one or two days to "see the sights." I was wondering if any of you know of some things I should go check out? Preferably things that are free or cheap.

I don't think the Toronto Zoo was all that expensive when we went in 2001.

What all do they have in a Canadian Zoo? Tom Green?

        LOL!

They had normal zoo animals actually. They had quite a few lions IIRC and a lot of giraffes.

I don't know what you're interested in. BTW the Toronto zoo's admission price has jumped considerably I think it's like 35 bucks now.

The Royal Ontario Museum is always a cool place to go. I haven't been there in years but if you like that kinda thing it's good. Toronto has pretty good restaurants but the best ones can be kinda on the expensive side. If you like the touristy things you can go to the CN Tower, the Harbourfront and walk down Yonge street.

I'm not much of a club guy but the nightclubs in the entertainment district are quite good but again expensive.

          Well that's it for now.

I think the Hockey Hall of Fame is not all that expensive (probably 15 or 20 bucks max) and it's pretty interesting. It's right downtown too so very convenient. You can also see the Stanley Cup there and take pictures with it if you want.

HOF, CN Tower, and the ROM maybe. Having lived in Toronto for most of my life [and right downtown], most things just seem boring about the city to me (other than convenience)... so I can't think of many other things that are even remotely exciting about the city.

It seems most people don't actually find their city too exciting but Toronto does have a good nightlife tho the violence in certain areas is a negative.

Hall of Fame sounds cool, I forgot it was in Toronto. I'm gonna try to get to the CN Tower as well. Can't miss that view!
